What do you like best about the product?
Cloud Section was nice and Evidence section was really helful in achving the compliance

Customization of Elearning and Security Questionnaire should be easily customizable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to achive the ISO 27001

Their automations and platform overall isn't yet comparative to other mature alternatives out there, but its getting better.

Helping organisations get their ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc by helping collect and maintain all the evidences and policies.

What do you like best about the product?
The team has been superb in understanding our requirements and addressing all queries to achieve the desired outcome within timelines. The team has been transparent about communicating everything upfront to ensure that there are no surprise elements later.
On the platform side, the integrations work well, the dashboard is easy to use, and there is no lag as such.
Definitely, good value for money.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although not a deal breaker but would love to have more automation. There are certain tasks which are still manual (e.g. IT asset tracking, access control matrix for software in use etc.). The team mentioned that they are working towards automating those tasks in future.
On the policy template side, the team should work towards standardising the templates. Its a one time effort but can have a huge ROI as its gonna be helpful for all future customers. Issue in templates is that some are shared as google doc file, some are shared in their own platform, formatting is not proper etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut Platform is the complete one-stop solution to meet compliance requirements for our ISO & SOC2 and GDPR certifications. We are a small team (< 10 folks) and Scrut has been a great partner to collaborate with! With their expert guidance, we look forward to meeting our customer's infosec expectations successfully.

What do you like best about the product?
The process of implementation is hassle free and smooth. The landscape of the tool and the team's knowledge is very beneficial with all the required relevant information and updates as on current date
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in specific. But im not sure about the integaration flexiblity with any of the existing people platforms

The Scrut platform is acting as one roof platform GRC tool which is compliant with multiple frameworks with all the artifacts mapped & linked to it, based on UCF library.
Very easy way to prepare for HIPAA compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard and reports are very user friendly. Also, a lot of activities are automated, which makes the whole process easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization of the policies and processes for a small organization like us is not there; we had to do a lot of things manually.

Scrut reduces manual drudgery of making policy documents. A lot of Cloud compliance analysis is completely automated.

Simplicity of approach and design, all the relevant and well articulated features, extremely efficient and helpful support, easy to implement and integrate, great daily driver

Improving and managing overall GRC, monitoring and steering security-related activities, resolving and monitoring compliance issues

The support team is very helpful. The application is user-friendly and makes compliance very quick and easy.

They can improve on the bugs that come up in the application.

All the vulnerabilities of the cloud configurations can be reviewed in a single dashboard.

Suggestions for improvement:
Warnings items in the cloud section can be automatically added in the risk register or give the option to add them to risk register.

Cloud Vulnerabilities, policy documentation, evidence collection is all done in a single portal which is helping us keep track of compliance posture.
Scrut is a great choice for startups
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing when working with Scrut as a startup is that they coordinate all of the work that needs to happen with both their internal teams and partners. This saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The team is generally pretty responsive, but there are times we've been needed to wait a bit and follow up to get answers to questions that came up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut is helping us to earn and maintain SOC 2 compliance. As a small company having support and tools to ensure policies and procedures are in place, track evidence collection, training support, and tools and automations to monitor on-going compliance allow us to devote less time to showing that we're protecting customer data properly which gives us more time to focus on our customers.
