Clarity with your SaaS tech stack
What do you like best about the product?
Lumos makes our tech stack stance clearer and boosts confidence in processes prone to human errors. The team is also always willing to work towards a better product.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're just starting our journey so not much to report yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos solves a few business problems including a single pane of visibility into SaaS spend, reducing redundancy/duplication, optimizing SaaS spend, and reducing risk around human error in operational tasks.
The Enterprise App Store for Your Business
What do you like best about the product?
Lumos is an amazing product with an awesome team behinds the scenes that demostrated a world class experience from the intial demo calls, to the scoping/requirements, to the technical details, and down to the full onboarding experience. I highly recommend exploring Lumos as a viable option to meet your business' self-service app store needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far that platform is proven to be successful and met our key requirements established with the Lumos team. To the best of my knowledge, the product is performing as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos offers our internal stakeholders an efficient way to self-service their application needs. The product allows our team to capture the appropriate approvals through multiple channels.
Everything starts with an excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
The tool definitely does what it says. You can create a plain GUI to automate many processes like sharing company apps with your staff and approving requests quickly by managers. Meanwhile, it also helps to handle license management so you can save money.
Even all these features are good but there are more tools on the market as well. The beauty of the Lumos is its support team behind it. They don't only try to sell their software to you so you can use the app feature. They help you to get what you need even if it requires customization to achieve your goal.
Feel like a team is helping you behind.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve, to understand how it works. Even if there is a team to help you, you need to spend some effort to understand their software, so you can best of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- It helps users to get access to company apps in a more friendly way compared to boring Service Now tickets.
- It also helps to manage licensing by lowering the cost of unused licenses.

Lumos encapsulates SaaS in an elegant way
What do you like best about the product?
They have captured the most important aspects of SaaS management (Access reviews, SaaS user/license management and Savings reporting).
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are immature, like the savings reporting, however they are working to improve their product and have been true to their roadmap so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily visilibity into the SaaS estate, but management, reviews and provisioning as well.

Lumos: Modern SaaS Automation + Spend Management! GET IT!
What do you like best about the product?
Lumos is a one stop shop for ending the reactive SaaS-sprawl going on at many modern companies, and it achieves this with an extremely robust and UX-focused portal.
Slack Integration is absolutely key, changes the game entirely.
Lumos has reduced app provisioning at our company to essentially....a non-task. IT barely has to think about it.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is a new product, so there are some features still being built. Ultimately though, this has been beneficial to us due to their Product and Customer Success team being SO amazing and receptive to our needs. We have seen more than 3 requested features land in our platform in less than half a year, working perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Lumos SOLVED app provisioning for us, IT barely has to spend time provisioning users now.
2. Lumos is providing extremely helpful insights into app spend and stale licenses.
3. Lumos has increased IT Service Desk's speed in resolving security concerns, as we can now push deactivations to many SaaS apps from one central platform.
4. Lumos has enhanced our ability to involve automated nuanced approval workflows for varying types of apps, and permissions within apps, allowing us to enforce LPA at the front end of a request.
5. Lumos has given us incredibly useful insights into Shadow IT app usage, and an ability to start controlling for that in a user-experience focused way.

Quick and easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how much time Lumos saves me when offboarding! It really is just as easy as one click of a button. My favorite feature is definitely the ability to transfer a user's Google Drive contents and reroute their email from within Lumos! That used to be a pain point that Lumos so kindly fixed!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some application integrations within Lumos that haven't necessarily been connected to our one click offboarding process, so we do have to eventually manually audit that system. However, I think this can be alleviated by leveraging the audit feature from within Lumos! (I realized this when I was typing this out.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos solved the problem of going into each system we have (which is quite a few) and individually removing people. It really has saved us a lot of time and let us create an essentially seamless offboarding process.
Lumos is highly satisfying
What do you like best about the product?
Lumos is pretty user friendly, we are using this in our organisation and it has been super useful, very convenient and simple which makes our job lot easier, the friendly user interface makes it better.
What do you dislike about the product?
some apps need support when it comes to integration so we are looking forward from lumos to make it available for more apps in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos provides us with realtime data of users, which saves a lot of time.
Lumos indicates inactive and terminated users, which makes our job easy.

It just works
What do you like best about the product?
I like that end users, managers, and admins all automatically figure out what their role is in the process quickly and easily. That happens because everything it is heavily slacked based, where the users exist. Emails can be ignored, missed, whatever; but a slack notification with a simple and quick action button lead to faster results for everyone involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI/UX elements are at times kind of odd. I wish it was more aparent to people that they already have acces and what kind of access they have. I would really like a bit more control for app admins in using lumos to remove people if necessary, say before time based access request runs out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a strong foundation for birthright access; but as everyone knows, and especially at smaller to mid size companies people wear lots of hats. 1/3rd of all our support requests were around access requests; and placing IT at the forefront of deciding who gets access and who doesn't. Not only is that inneficient for everyone involved, it is also not secure as not everything is an tool and IT should be the one making the call on whether a person should have access or not. Lumos helps solve this pain point by building an easy to use catalogue for app requests, directing these to the right people to approve via slack, and informing IT or the app admin on next steps. Saves IT time, saves end user time, saves manager or app approvers' time as well. When that many people and groups save time, it is an enormous productivity boost for the entire company.
Lumos for the Win!
What do you like best about the product?
Lumos has been a great tool to introduce into our company. We are seeing really high adoption rates across the board and ticket volume for access requests has been low across the board.
