The Lumos Identity Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The Self-Service App feature dramatically reduces waiting time for our staff. The Access Review reports easily notify app owners of user licenses which reduces cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing. The Lumos CSM has provides us with the needed support to get us going and integrated us quickly on what we want to accomplish. The UI is a delight to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos provides an interface where it is easy to follow and be compliant faster cutting down time, cost and headache. Getting the results that we need in a timely matter means more time on other projects.
Multiple crucial features that helps IT teams out a ton of any size.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the access review feature. You can quickly assess applications, users in applications and then you can use this as part of a compliance review which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
.The team has been very very responsive to any bugs I've identified and to the best of my knowledge has fixed them all, so I don't have any complaints. They really want their customers to find a lot of value in the product.

Self Service that works nicely with Slack
License Management (this is really cool, allows me to see when people are not using expensive SaaS licenses like SFDC so that we can remove those licenses and repurpose them).

Great Product, Great Team! Does it get any better?
What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities of the platform. The team is amazing to work with! There is some thought leadership here that I haven't seen anywhere else. I feel like Lumos is headed in the right direction. The product is set up to compete with the big players in the space and will fill in some niches that aren't filled.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still, early days and some features are new.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security access reviews! It completely makes the process streamlined, and at the end, you get a beautiful PDF to show to auditors or maybe post on your wall, it's that good. Access requests are another place that we still have yet to dive into, but I am looking forward to seeing that in action.
Lumos App Store Saves our Company Time and Money
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to automate access to our applications - this includes granting access, creating the Jira ticket, gathering approvals, and completing the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike but Lumos is new and is adding new features all the time. They listen to their customers and work hard to fix bugs quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos automates all of our access requests freeing up time for our techs. Lumos also helps us with right-sizing our licenses and shows us our shadow IT apps.

What do you like best about the product?
Lumos is excellent at providing the team with visibility into what tools teams are using that can potentially save the organization money and making sure access is approved when requested.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislike at the moment since the Lumos team is always making improvements based on customers' feedback. I love how quickly they follow up with any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos is helping our organization team save money by not spending money on overlapping license usage.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the AppStore - Which provides a simple place for our end-users to request everything they need!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all software has full integration (check for orphaned and dormant accounts) within Lumos, yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing our end-users to easily see all software and apps they can have access to and allows us to keep up with dormant/orphaned accounts.
A great application to help save money and off board / onboard
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have an app store. Also the ability to discover Shadow it as well as onboarding and off-boarding of employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little buggy at first but their team is very responsive and able to fix things quickly as well as they are always rolling out new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us save a lot of money by identifying unused accounts as well as giving our employees and app store to pick applications from.
Great product with a great vision to the future
What do you like best about the product?
Lumos is really just getting started. The product has visibility and data the use of this information has many applications and a lot of potential in the future. We have streamlined much of our application request and provisioning process to eliminate the use of IT staff for repetitive and mundane tasks. Overall our IT support teams are spending more time on real problems which has improved our overall productivity. On top of all that, we have a great system of record for access authorization to help meet any auditor requests. Our compliance program has improved significantly as a result of Lumos.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Lumos platform contains so much information, that there are endless use cases individual organizations may want to be able to do. Many of these are specific to the organization and may not be a benefit to all or many if in existence. While the primary functions are fantastic, some gaps are still there that when added would take the platform to 11. The Lumos team loves to hear feedback and is quick to add capabilities to address these missing parts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a confusing and decentralized way of provisioning applications and tracking/managing access. Much of it would be left to the teams that owned and operated specific SaaS products. Lumos allowed us to move this process to a central location and also helped push many apps into our primary IdP solution which helped improve security across the enterprise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lumos is the one-stop shop for SaaS management, shadow IT detection, and application provisioning.
