What do you like best about the product?
The user interface and dashboards are intuitive, and the setup process is straightforward. The platform is responsive, with comprehensive documentation and effective monitoring features. The logging capabilities make managing tasks simpler, and there are robust integrations with various cloud providers.
What do you dislike about the product?
NRQL can be challenging for newcomers to learn. The pricing model may also be difficult to understand at first. If not configured properly, alerts have the potential to become noisy or repetitive, which can result in alert fatigue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool offers distributed tracing along with real-time error analytics. It helps me track issues as they occur and understand how different parts of the system interact, making it easier to identify and resolve problems quickly.

There are many problems solved by newrelic. The customer support team is excellent.

What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect I find frustrating about New Relic is the complexity of the initial setup and configuration process. It often requires considerable time to adjust dashboards, set appropriate alert thresholds, and filter out irrelevant data in order to obtain truly meaningful insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic enables us to identify performance issues, bottlenecks, and errors across both our applications and infrastructure in real time. With its full-stack observability, we can monitor everything from the frontend user experience to backend services, which allows us to quickly detect and resolve issues before they impact our end users.

The platform’s detailed metrics, distributed tracing, and alerting capabilities make it much easier to pinpoint the root cause of problems and reduce our mean time to resolution (MTTR). As a result, we have seen notable improvements in application reliability, system performance, and overall customer satisfaction.

What do you like best about the product?

Additionally, the customizable dashboards enable teams to visualize performance trends and rapidly identify issues. The Customer Support was very helpful and resourceful.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of New Relic is its complicated pricing structure. As data volumes increase, costs can rise rapidly, which makes it challenging for some teams to accurately predict their budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic addresses the challenge of gaining visibility into complex, distributed systems by consolidating application performance, infrastructure monitoring, logs, and user experience data into a single platform. Rather than juggling several disconnected tools, it offers a unified source of truth, making it much easier to detect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently. This leads to a reduction in mean time to resolution (MTTR), less downtime, and a better experience for end users. Developers benefit from detailed insights into code performance and dependencies, while operations teams find capacity planning and proactive monitoring more straightforward. In the end, this results in faster problem resolution, greater reliability, and increased confidence in delivering stable, high-performing digital services.

What do you dislike about the product?
