Great and complex IT monitoring solution with many open source integrations.
What do you like best about the product?
+ easy deployment with many out of the box check
+ raw (free) version should perfect fir for small offices with various technology
+ dynamic monitoring for dynamic environments like K8,
+ many integrations in both directions
+ great comunnity support for new checks and support
+ emphasis on maintaining standards throughout the entire period of product releases
+ every fellow administrator was enthusiastic about this system

What do you dislike about the product?
- too many edition in 2.2 release and related increase of price for the best edition

solid base as primary monitoring platform for IT infrascture and platform layer with an overlap to app layer

The Monitoring Solution is easy to install. The basic configuration is simple, too. You can find much natively supported devices
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have a multiple site setup with and many tags, groups, you will get a lot of rules. The rules management could be a bit clearer.

Every customer and every system is unique, so it may occasionally be necessary to develop customized solutions to meet specific needs. In such cases, it can be sensible to resort to individual customizations to ensure the best possible performance and effectiveness of the monitoring system. However, the flexibility of Checkmk allows for successfully meeting such tailored requirements, thus ensuring optimal monitoring and control of various systems.

What do you dislike about the product?
The configuration of notifications is sometimes unclear but now with the "fake" which will trigger after one click it will be easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The nice thing are availability reports where you can find if any "pattern" occurs and exact times.

The installation is very easy. The Basic configuration is possible to create within an hour of work. CheckMK is usable for very small Environments (up to 10 hosts) but is usable in very very large Env. up to 10k Hosts

Nothing important at the moment. The new version takes a lot of things better

We are Monitor Customer Systems and Datacenter. This helps us to find Errors bevore they accure. We use 24x7 for finding Problems and Solve them bevor the Customer is informated

Nothing to dislike Actually but suggestion would chexkmk should have some automated script to setup all the things

We have on primise cloud I.e openstack and check is healping us to monitor all osp service .hypervisor CPU , memory and storage alerts.
Excellent solution for a mixed Windows and Linux Environment

I really enjoy the automatic Agent update mechanism.

In the meantime I learned to handle all issues.

I like the current features, infrastructure monitoring and the extensions. The interface is well-made and alerting is functional.

SNMP monitoring could be improved, extensions could have a better documentation
