Checkmk uma excelente ferramenta

A variedade de checagens e plugins que são disponibilizados, bem como informações de arquivos de logs que me ajudam a prevenir muitos problemas em meu ambiente, acho uma ferramenta completa

não gostei do dashboard da versão 2.0, acho o da versão 1.6 melhor, mas fui me readequando, um importador de mib também era interessante pois poderia melhorar o meu tipo de checagem

o fato de ele me informar os probelmas que estão sendo gravados nos logs do windows me ajuda a detectar vários problemas em meu ambiente corporativo, economiza tempo de ficar analisando os logs maquina a maquina

CheckMK provides insight into our Infrastructure
What do you like best about the product?
CheckMK is easy to setup and manage. Upgrades are simple to perform.
What do you dislike about the product?
CheckMK has a fairly steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been alerted to services being down and been able to fix the issues before users notice there's a problem.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
CheckMK is a great tool that, once you figure out how it works, is easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Checkmk has the ability for real-time monitoring and has a nice dashboard with visual warnings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, sensitivity is difficult to calibrate, but overall works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems I have identified with Checkmk would be disk space getting low or disconnected servers are reported with a nice visual red solid circle to mark that it is down.

I am monitoring the whole IT infrastructure, servers, network, DBs, applications.

Effectivity, dashboards, BI rules and aggregations

Sometimes configuration is difficult, for example adding contact groups or creating aggregations.

Monitoring infraestructure, on prem, in cloud or hybrid with a unique application. Connect to GRAFANA.

It can be a little bit complicated sometimes.

What do you like best about the product?
By far CheckMK has the best auto discovery features and an easy to use API. For the ~500 servers in our stack, it took me less than an hour to get up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rules definitions are a bit difficult for me to follow. For example, we have most of our servers on a unified port number but there are a few that use a different port number for various reasons. When using ssh as the connection method for the checkmk agent, everything defaults to the unified port, and I can't seem to define it using the excludes or server definitions. That's not a slight on checkmk-- I might be doing something wrong, I need to spend more time on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our environment is a manual configuration and there's a lot of technical debt to work through because of it. Things such as services not set to come up after a reboot are a big problem and checkmk helps solve this problem with it's auto-discovery. It's fantastic at knowing the state of the system and

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CheckMK is used to get notifications when something is wrong with infrastructure. In most cases, we can take action before customers even notice.
Clean look, fast monitoring, and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is accommodating and intuitive. The history plots are very useful when identifying issues in production. We have been able to fix any problems before they affected customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had issues with business aggregation being slow when monitoring many sites. Upgrading to version 2 was not painless and has taken us quite some time. Merging rules accross version horable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time monitoring of critical infostructure, providing fast and accurate response to incidences and promising uptime and reliability reports for higher ups in an easy to understand format

With the menu change 1.6 to 2.x, some items are hard to find.
