The Power of CheckMK
What do you like best about the product?
CheckMK is lightweight and installs quickly. It is very easy to configure and use after a short initial training.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rules concept is a little difficult to grasp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It tracks uptime and services of all our servers proactively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do try it and you will love it.

Many Documentation need to more detailed. In some topics, the path or option to change a setting should be more precise

We used Nagios before , the step to add a host and choose and set services is very fast with CHECKMK
Recommendations to others considering the product:
From the intial test to the procurment and migration of Nagios to Checkmk. checkmk is a breeze to work with. highly recommended to both Nagios users and also to new Monitoring admins

Not getting any partner in INDIA my country.

For my managent, now i dont to sent any reports to them for informing about server health and internet issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please consider to get a patner in India. Because as much as i know CheckMK is not much popular in INDIA. Once you setp in to INDIA you will be the first in this area because its easy to use and great looking dashboard with all in one solution.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize and handle everything via CLI. The stability.
What do you dislike about the product?
The handling with the monitoring rules is not really not intuitive, no smartphone app available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Monitoring the overall systems performance, Reporting SLA's of business it services.
Checkmk is a very good tool to get most of the devices and services good monitored in a short time.

The updater agent and the prepared settings for devices.

There are a lot of rules, sometimes it takes a little to find the rule which would be interesting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep the services running and know which server has a problem.
Solid monitoring system and great support.

Ease of configuration. Quick view with Dashboard. Detection of services through polling agent.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the configuration is generally easy there are some parts that are not clear. The search for rules is a bit obtuse. Really need a method to search more easily and globally. Built in "parenting system for vCenter/ESXi configurations would be a great addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our setup has varying systems (bare metal, virtual and devices) and checkmk allows us to monitor all of them fairly uniformly. I particularly like the way it allows us to piggyback data from vCenter for Virtual systems.
I have extremely please the Checkmk and have no plans to use anything else.

I found Checkmk quick with the ability to grow.

There seems to be no fahrenheit option for graphs and pnp.

I can see all my equipment problems and patterns. It helps us to respond proactively instead of reactively.

I had to learn how to use the Linux Shell which I was not used to.
But I'm today I don't regret it!
