Good Observability tool in market
What do you like best about the product?
It gives good reporting metrics in the chart based formats which helps you to drill down into any KPI to find more details.
You could also look at the aggregate data.

It would be better if they have given us some user customization to change the view as per user preference and the choice of chart library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our team for the proactive monitoring our applications. We can get a detailed view of all the db performance and container monitoring in a concise view.

Impressive and game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Instana is really straight-forward regarding configuration: you just need to install the agent in a node level and it is done. The main point that made Instana our choice is that it was the only solution that fit to our product scale, considering that its price is based on how many nodes do you have in your cluster, and not in how many pods do you have. I am really satisfied with all the features it have delivered us and also with the improvement it has brought to our troubleshooting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is that you need to think in a annual scaling when considering to use Instana. The pricing is calculated in a annual basis, so you need to consider your cost forecast and architecture sizing in order to invest properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CPU and Memory overflow and application calls tracing. By using it, we were able to make a better root cause analysis in some performance problems we had.

What do you like best about the product?
What I really appreciate about Instana is its excellent user interface. It's also incredibly useful that I can monitor details from multiple servers simultaneously, a feature I use frequently throughout the day. Additionally, the customer support is outstanding, and it's very easy to integrate into our projects. These are the main aspects I've found most valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I can't find anything to dislike about Instana given its wealth of features, the subscription price is a significant concern as it's currently too expensive for us.

Monitor services and detect and track interactions in applications using microservice architecture.

Perhaps one of the biggest problems is the poor marketing of this tool.
I see that it is a tool with a lot of potential (as long as it is used with Turbonomic)

Typically companies have hundreds of microservices. This tool helps monitor these microservices and notify you if any of them are not working well.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Instana is very easy to use and customer support is very good. It offers a lot of functions and User Interface is very good. Monitoring and tracking is very good

IBM Instana is a bit expensive. It requires a learning curve it requires experience to work on this. Setup can be improved

IBM Instana helps to identify the root cause of the issue and integration is very simple
