Resilio Connect has been a game changer

What do you like best about the product?
The near "real-time" sync is impressive. Also it's ability to scale and handle millions of files is what sets it apart from other solutions. Also, the fact that sync happens over a mesh network instead being limited to "point to point" sync enables our different locations to work as a unified team. It "just works". The Management Portal is very simple and intuitive but not dumbed down. You have a lot of advance controls if you need it and the web interface allows non-admins see what's happening. Lastly, the support team is fantastic. I've had direct access to the developers and engineers who are very patient and knowledgeable. They even wrote me a special build of their software to facilitate our pipeline needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price point might turn some people off but it's very reasonable compared to other services like Signiant and Aspera. The fact that I was able to talk to the devs directly and that the support team responds right away to make sure issue are resolved is what makes Resilio Connect Server worth it.

On the other hand, Resilio Connect Desktop and Desktop Sync are amazing products, but the price points are a little steep per seat. I would gladly pay more money if I got more seats so I could deploy to our team of offsite staff or freelancers. Right now, we only have a handful of Resilio Connect Desktop licenses for the people that absolutely need it.

One issue is the confusion between their consumer product called Resilio Sync and their enterprise server called Resilio Connect. I actually demo'd Resilio Sync first and didn't think it would suit our needs. It was only after I was able to demo Resilio Connect that I was impressed with what I saw. The UI is very similar for the consumer and enterprise desktop clients but under the hood, the algorithms are totally different.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
(FYI, the previous question/dropdown "For which purposes do you use..." only had one answer "Cloud Storage". I had to select that even though we don't do cloud storage).

Resilio sync enables our different offices to work on the same project and files as if we are on the same file system. We used to manually upload and download assets needed by our VFX artists which was a huge bottleneck and mistakes are bound to happen.

What do you like best about the product?
Resilio sends a link and uploads directly to the person receiving the files, which has proven to be a quicker process than sending files through other sources, such as WeTransfer.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, it's super smooth for me! Haven't come across any cons yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending large files much more quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! They have a free version, so no financial risk.

My choice for both local and off-site backups

What do you like best about the product?
It is free or very inexpensive and it works pretty well, especially compared to other solutions I've reviewed or tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue I have is with users not running the client. Either it crashes or they quit it, and then the sync stops. Would love a way to have the app auto-launch if it isn't running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we are a small org, we use Resilio Sync. We use it for backups. Our Seagate NAS has Resilio and individual computers use Resilio to sync their files. I also have an offsite PC running Resilio which keeps our NAS backed up offsite.

Finally, we have a shared folder of photos we use for marketing. Everyone on the marketing team has this folder syncing to their computer, and so changes made by any one person are reflected on everyone's computer (and of course also on the NAS and the offline backup).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out. It's free initially.
