Cracked UI Testing
What do you like best about the product?
We can identify issues for images, colors and many more visuals.
Sometimes our image is not loading completly on some devices and with our existing Automation suite we make it pass as It says that it has image element. But now if our image is not loading on some particular device or there is color different Browserstack's percy can detect this and show us the report.
We have scheduled a piepline with percy and it shows us report after every deployment which make our product more reliable.

What do you dislike about the product?
Basically, percy is finding the CSS issues which we can also write from scratch. But for mobile apps writing script to catch CSS issues is a tough task and browserstack should extent Percy to Mobile Apps also
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier it was a tough task for us to identify the UI bugs where image is not loading, color is incorrect. Our UI automation framework wasn't effective as it wasnt able to eleminate the visuals issues. Before Percy we use to manually identified all the visual bugs time to time with eavery release but now this also helps us to reduce our workforce. Now with the help of Percy we are confident with our product.
I'm now a Automation Expert
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack's low code automation has a great feature which enables me to write automation script without much knowledge of test framework.
I can use that automation script on various browsers to run and test my web apps.
It gives us a detailed report and also I have created a pipeline and integrated my script which runs daily and we get issues which are on production.

What do you dislike about the product?
Browserstack's other features are great but its low code automation is limited to only web app. It doesn't support Android and iOS mobile apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Although, there is free alternative for browserstack's low code automation in browsers to which write scripts. But that doesn't support giving detailed report and test suite. Here we are writing scripts and setting up a proper test automation suite. As a Project Manager, I dont write automation script but with the help of low code automation I am writing my own scripts in the initial development phase as we know that on inital phase of development there is lot of change in UI. And for this use Low Code Automation is the perfect solution.
Transparent Pricing and Good Value
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack for us was one of many options to run our automated e2e tests. They by far are the most transparent in thier pricing and most reasonable in terms of the value for dollar spent (Compare to circle, ADF, saucelabs, etc) It also runs the tests in our last comparison in half the time they take to run on circle. I also like that it's an easy ramp for product managers to do manual testing on a lot of different devices visually instead of taking QA resources to hand hold or train on emulators. In most automation frameworks using browserstack is plug and play.
What do you dislike about the product?
We aren't using enough of thier capabilities to really have complaints, perhaps longer result storage or an easy way to support long term data storage of test runs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run our automated e2e tests daily on physical devices. This is helping us prepare for CI/CD in the future, and in the short term we can investigate failures before the final release cut.
Principal software engineering using BrowserStack as main source for testing automation solution
What do you like best about the product?
1. Automate tools - In the project we are working on, we need to have reliable and easy to use tools to help with the automation developing process. We find the Automate tools for real mobile device from BrowserStack quite helpful not only for dev but also for debugging.
2. Availability of the real devices from BrowserStack cloud - in our automation developing, we don't need to worry about if devices are available or ready for use which is super helpful and take lots of concerns and initial setting up work load off the engineers so we can focus on the business and what really matters to the purpose.
3. Tech documentations - at the beginning of the integration, the documentation quality and accuracy would impact the effeicency a lot. We found the documentations are helpful overall.
4. Having specific account manager we can reach out - when we have issues, by having one person we know we always can reach out and get response is critical. Sometimes we get frustrated by told to reach out to Customer Support email or line which rarely get response in time. Or the response usually isn't that helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Here are a few pain points based on the current project and experience:
1. In our mobile automation, we see performance difference between iOS and Android phones. In general, Android phones are much faster in terms of refreshing pages with push notificaiton, but it usually has a long delay on the iPhones. We have to write certain code specifially to handle the performance issues to run the tests on iPhones - which in my opinion should never be the case.
2. iPhones from BrowserStack doesn't support Push testing unless with an enterprise licence. I understand this is based off the limitations of Apple, etc. But the reality is our team needs to look for alternative solutions other than BrowserStack to achieve this goal. We really wish to continue using BrowserStack as device solution and even expand to broader areas.

The event was a fantastic experience, offering informative sessions tailored to individual needs.
What do you like best about the product?
The opportunity to interact with experts and thought leaders was invaluable, providing unique insights and perspectives.
What do you dislike about the product?
more interactive workshops or hands-on activities could enhance the learning experience further
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real device testing
A great testing tool
What do you like best about the product?
The number of actual devices you can use, with combinations of OS and browser, it really does what it says on the tin. You don't need a mass of knowledge of technical things (although we generally do) and can get going in just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't a downside as such, but the ability to upload an APK or Test flight on a device would be a boon (unless I've missed it, there's a lot of options!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The console/browser based screen resizing can only show you so much, and we only have a limited budget for buying real devices to test on, so having the ability to use so many devices is amazing. Also, even if we had all the devices we needed to use, there's so much overhead to recording or screenshots and then sending them to tickets and evidence folders, being able to have all that come from one place is great.
Very Impressed with BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
real devices in real time. manual and automated testing available on live devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes we get errors that are browserstack specific and do not occur on real devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
test on real devices.
my go-to solution for effortless cross-browser testing
What do you like best about the product?
For me personally, it has been really helpful in testing out applications of multiple and different types of devices
What do you dislike about the product?
Its pricing plans are great for teams and organsation but when it comes to individual user, i found it a bit on the expensive side
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack is most beneficial for solving parallel test execution on multiple devices. It has benefited me and my team since we have web, desktop and mobile app for our product. It allows us verify same test cases on different types and version of devices and operating systems
