Amazing Tool for Professional Testing!

  • December 27, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The thing that I find most amazing about Browserstack is that it has everything for everyone, Be it a Developer, a QA, an Automation Engineer, it serves each and every designation with a professional set of tools that anybody has at their disposal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just have one dislike that it sometimes doesn't allow to view the screen as a Virtual machine but rather stays on the browser, it should have its own launcher that should be supported on various OS to launch the windows as if the user is working on an actual system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The solution that I have every browser and OS with different viewports at my disposal is the thing that I like the most about BrowserStack. The rest of the things are definitely the cherry on the cake, but this thing alone is enabling me to keep myself subscribed to it!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is incredibly intuitive. Setting up test environments is quick and hassle-free, and the platform's documentation is a helpful resource for both beginners and experienced developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a slight learning curve for new users. While the platform is generally user-friendly, improved onboarding resources could help newcomers get up to speed more quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a user, BrowserStack has been instrumental in solving several critical challenges in my web development workflow, providing tangible benefits that significantly impact the quality and efficiency of our projects.

One of the primary challenges BrowserStack addresses is cross-browser compatibility.

Testing on real devices is a crucial aspect of delivering a polished user experience. Before using BrowserStack, obtaining and maintaining a variety of physical devices for testing was impractical. BrowserStack's virtual device testing feature enables me to simulate real-world scenarios, ensuring our applications are optimized for a diverse range of devices.

Mandatory tool for web sites/apps testing on multi devices

  • December 21, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Option to test web solutions on variety of devices which otherwise would be impossible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a bit high for a tool which is not needed daily (I use it in final stages of web development only).
Some times it takes a while to load the device but that is understandable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack is a tool I use to test our websites/apps on multi devices. As we only have limited amount of phisical devices avaliable in company this solves the issue to test on wider variety.

A Disorganized Testing Tool

  • December 20, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack provides a cumbersome range of devices and browsers, for testing purposes. It does not ensure that my website appears correctly on platforms. There are also performance and latency issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The unreliability of the platform makes it a poor choice. The pricing plans are higher compared to competitors. There are some limitations and bugs it remains one of the noncomprehensive testing tools available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that BrowserStacks reliance on machines sometimes results in slow and frustrating experiences. Certain platforms have limited usability when it comes to browser developer tools making frontend development and debugging difficult. Its inconvenient to require a Mac connection for iOS testing.

BrowserStack has been obstructive when it comes to browser testing

  • December 20, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack provides a limited range of devices and browsers to choose from. This does not allow me to thoroughly test my website on platforms not ensuring it functions simply, for all users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the features provided by BrowserStack to be quite hectic. There are performance issues and latency during peak usage times. I believe that the platform delivers an unreliable solution. BrowserStack consumes time and money by not eliminating the need for devices it is slower compared to installing a machine (VM).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are downsides to using BrowserStack. Firstly front end developers who target devices find it difficult without a tool like BrowserStack. It becomes difficult to adjust CSS and inspect elements on the go. Android and iOS offer options for device linking with computers it is quite cumbersome.
