Good experience using Browserstack for Selenium
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to run tests on multiple devices is the feature I was looking. When I found browserstack capability to run on multiple device and browser combinations, I am amused.
What do you dislike about the product?
High price and also we have to take multiple subscriptions for mobile device testing and using on different browsers. Which made the price further up. I would recommend a combined affordable plan for organizations to take full advantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack is saving some time and money for the organization. Cause we don't have to buy multiple devices and can test on the devices for a fraction of the cost. Also, it saves some time by the ability to run tests on multiple browser and device combinations.
Using BrowserStack for Quality Assurance Testing
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack automates the quality assurance testing that we conduct during development and releases. I like the fact that the BrowserStack cloud has a video history of our test executions and can executing using multiple browsers on multiple operating systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most annoying item in BrowserStack occassionally appears when I stop a test execution is running - often when I use the debugger, BrowserStack sometime keeps the os port which causes the next test execution to fail because it cannot obtain the port.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack enables helps use build a library of automated selenium tests which we can execute during development and release.
Solid, Useful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Very good at testing browser and device compatibly for web applications. We use it frequently to also check security and network access for web applications that have different access on and off campus. Many, many options for testing various devices, operating systems, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like a way to test web applications that can only be accessible on internal network via the browser interface. there are many tools. Sometimes it is hard or not quick to switch between options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing web applications. Checking access and downtime issues for end users who access from outside our network. testing web applications on different devices/operating systems our clients use, but we do not have in the office.
BS Accessibility Review
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack seems to have additional features that allow tech assistance where most others do not. I like that I am able to add addtional metrics and trends to show my company
What do you dislike about the product?
I can always use additional graphs and charts to show vital metrics to our corporate reps. I would love to see more automation in the future like smart imaging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Broswerstack is able to frequently run reports that make big picture trend demos easier to present. BS also is benefiting us by the resources given at each wcag fail and code recommendation
Got an insight about the accessibility testing via BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
Real-time device experience with a user-friendly environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple device testing simultaneously was not possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rather than testing in developer tools, BrowserStack gives a real-time experience.
BrowserStack - great for your multiple device testing needs
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to quickly check all of the different types of devices for your website is super helpful. I am able to keep ontop of testing all of the newest devices and OS versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed (along with other people on my team) that the actual device vs. BrowserStack can sometimes be incorrect and show things on the website differently than the actual device. We're still not sure why this happens, but I usually chalk it up to being differences in Front End libraries used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While working remote, I am not able to secure the latest and available devices, especially because of cost and logistics. I am able to ensure our client's needs are met to match their userbase, matching their analytics to devices available within BrowserStack.
Why BrowserStack is My Go-To for Cross-Browser/Cross-DeviceTesting
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the inventory of Phones available for testing. It has a broader range of iOS, Android, and Windows mobile, tablet, and desktop to simulate. Output is also 95% accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is on the higher side for the products like Percy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack provides access to a wide range of devices, eliminating the need to purchase new physical devices. It also supports local testing, which helps in effectively debugging UI issues.
Great work
What do you like best about the product?
The accesibility and responsive website testing along with snapshot/video is very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything looks good but need more doc support on headless and CI configuration
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing Responvieness because we target native and mobile site users
BrowserStack is simple and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to test our applications using any browser on any device to make sure it all functions perfectly. I like that they have a desktop application that allows me to test locally run applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the desktop app needs to be restarted or relinked in order to get it to connect to BrowserStack. Also I don't like their chat bot bubble in the corner, it gets in the way sometimes when testing some application and web links.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack allows me to know exactly how my applications will serve up to the public on any browser and any device. This allows me to solve browser specific issues when they are reported by customers.
I have been using the BrowserStack for testing web applications on Safari Browser mainly
What do you like best about the product?
Having different versions of different browsers help to test against most upto date device configurations. This is to me one of the best features this tool provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have experienced issues with installing the browserstack local in the past due to unclear installations. I also feel the UI of the application can be a bit more user friendly in terms of guiding the user to take next steps like switching to Force local on or off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The web application, currently I am using the BrowserStack to test, has different user types from very old configurations to quite newer versions of devices and browsers. This is helping us with the ability to test on multiple configurations without actully having to purchase different types of devices just for the testing purposes.
