Simple and smooth testing
What do you like best about the product?
As a Mac user using the platform to test and optimize for has never been easier. The multiple versions of browsers and OS makes it if there’s an issue reported. I can easily replicate it and fix it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if cookies/sessions could transfer between browsers on the same OS?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Platform compatibility and optimization
Reliable cross-browser testing made simple
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack makes cross-browser and cross-device testing incredibly seamless. I can quickly test responsive design, legacy browser compatibility, and device-specific quirks without the hassle of maintaining an in-house device lab. It’s particularly valuable in fast-paced digital projects where time and accuracy matter. The platform feels intuitive, and real device testing provides confidence that what we ship will work for our end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the core features are solid, I occasionally find that session performance can lag slightly when testing older mobile devices, and automated test set-up can take a little while to get used to without strong documentation. A few more integrations with project management tools would also be helpful. That said, these are minor compared to the overall value it brings.
A few things to consider in your review (you may reference these explicitly or weave them into the text):
Ease of Use: Very easy for manual testers and QA teams to get up and running
Ease of Implementation: Straightforward; required minimal onboarding
Customer Support: Responsive, though usually only needed for rare technical hiccups
Frequency of Use: Weekly use in a project management capacity to support front-end teams
Number of Features: Covers all essential test cases across browsers, devices, and operating systems
Ease of Integration: Works well with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack eliminates the need to maintain an in-house suite of physical devices or set up complex virtual testing environments. As a technical project manager working across multiple digital products, I rely on BrowserStack to give teams quick access to a wide range of browsers and devices, ensuring a consistent experience for users regardless of their platform. It’s helped reduce post-release issues, increased stakeholder confidence, and sped up our testing cycles considerably.
Easy to use but lacking in some areas
What do you like best about the product?
the accessibility scan is easy to use and gives good insight. But I think there are 2 areas need improvement, one of them is reporting. I think excel sheet is not a way to report. I think it should create a report with a screenshot and the issue next to it ( a presentation) the second thing, I think sometimes it misses some issues which I only notice when I manual check.
I love figma plugin as well. easy to use but not checking the image contrast unfortunately.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say dislike but figma plugin not checking the image contrast and scan missing important points are the areas that really needs to be fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can have an idea of the scale of the problem whether we have loads of issues or not much so from scan- I can have this idea
Mobile app testing- testing from testflight is such an amazing feature! Howeer I can only test in some phones only.
So it helps me to define the accessibility issues and a good guidance for how to solve these issues.

Lots of tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to not just spin up a mobile emulator but to actually connect to a specific mobile device (e.g. an Apple iPhone 11) is deeply helpful replicating specific issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes some learning to understand it's capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack helps provide confidence that applications are running as expected.
BrowserStack brings wide variety of devices into your computer
What do you like best about the product?
I like the most that the devices variety is really large and this gives me opportunity to test products on many different devices. Browserstack is really easy to use and if any problems, then customer support is there to help you. I use it frequently couple of times a week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the devices load slowly, but that would be understandable, because if I am testing on some old device, they are slow in real life as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for compatibility reasons, in order to find out if some software also works on older devices.

BrowserStack does exactly what they claim to - better than anyone else.
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack has been an absolute life-saver when developing systems that are designed to be used anywhere and everywhere. We are able to test on whatever combination of device/os/browser you could choose. Moreover, we can test live sites and sites under local development! This is key to ensuring our solutions work the best they can for everyone - plus on the odd occasion we miss something, we can replicate exactly what our users report at a moment's notice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I genuinely can't think of anything I dislike about BrowserStack. It does everything it promises, never causes us headaches, and gets the latest devices constantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack ensures that our most key features can be tested on any combination of device/OS/browser. This avoids us having to purchase hundreds of devices, and keeps our sites bug-free.
Useful for mobile testing
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to test on various mobile real devices, both in an automated and manual fashions. The logs, reports and screen recordings are very useful to understand the root cause.
Setting up the tool and configuring it within our CI/CD process was fairly smooth.
We use it on a daily basis.

What do you dislike about the product?
Percy integration isn't working as expected (the ability to custom the sensitivity to a specific percentage value is missing).
There's no way to configure an automated test (Appium) with a skipped/disabled/quarantined status (only PASS/FAIL are allowed).

Solid Cross-Browser Testing Platform with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack makes cross-browser and cross-device testing incredibly easy and accessible. The ease of use is one of its biggest strengths—the UI is clean, intuitive, and well-organized, allowing even new users to jump in quickly. We use it frequently for testing responsive layouts, JS behavior, and UI consistency across multiple platforms without needing to maintain a complex local device lab.
The range of features is impressive: from real device testing to automated testing via Selenium and Appium, it offers a full suite that covers most QA needs. Integration is straightforward, especially with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and popular testing frameworks.
BrowserStack also excels in ease of implementation. Setup is fast, and there’s no need to install anything beyond their secure tunnel if testing local environments.

What do you dislike about the product?
While BrowserStack is generally reliable, there are a few pain points. First, the performance can occasionally lag, especially with real device testing during peak hours, which slows down QA workflows.
The pricing model could be more flexible for smaller teams or projects with fluctuating testing needs. Additionally, while customer support is responsive, deeper technical issues sometimes require a bit of back-and-forth to resolve.
Lastly, some integrations—especially more custom ones—can require a bit of manual configuration and aren’t as seamless as advertised.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the major challenge of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing in a fast-paced development environment. Instead of managing an in-house device lab or setting up dozens of VMs, we can instantly access a wide range of real devices, operating systems, and browser versions—all in the cloud.
Easy to use and helpful tool for any software company
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility to test everything online, instead of needing to maintain every single test device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some very specific testcases are difficult to test such as forced updates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to maintain so many test devices. Multiple people can have access to it.
