What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack has been an invaluable tool in my development workflow, particularly for cross-browser testing. Its extensive support for various browsers and devices, including older versions, ensures that my applications are compatible across different platforms without the need for a physical device lab. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to set up tests and interpret results, even for those new to automated testing. One of the standout features is the ability to test on real devices, which is crucial for mobile app testing as emulators often fall short in replicating real-world conditions.

Great device farm in the cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Live provides an easy to access range of browser/operating system combination.
With App Live we have an easy to acces device farm to test our apps. It also provides an easy access network requests sent by our apps. No need anymore to struggle with setting up proxies. Due to the integration with Firebase the latest builds of our apps are always available in App Live. No hassle anymore with downloading and uploading ipa and apk files.
Percy also has been a game changer for us. It provides quick feedback on styling issues that are hard to catch when testing manually.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Performance can be slow from time to time put it has improved a lot in the past years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy access to mobile devices. We need to manage less real devices.
Great on-demand stable of iOS devices
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack provides me with the tools I need to complete an in-depth evaluation of our online products on a variety of Apple devices. I can run quick checks of functionality and reproduce issues reported be end users, using both current and previous versions of iPadOS. BrowserStack gives us access to real devices (not just emulators/simulators), so we can be confident in our test experience and results. And since we don't have to procure, provision, maintain, and update the devices ourselves, we can test on a wider variety of devices and operating system versions. I can start a test session in just a couple of clicks, and switch to a different device just as quickly. The availability of Chrome DevTools/Safari Web Inspector in the BrowserStack tool further reduces our dependence on having local hardware to support testing and troubleshooting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one weakness of BrowserStack in our testing is the limited selection of tablet-sized Android devices. There are several Galaxy Tab devices, but only the A9+ is running Android 14, and none currently have Android 15. Of course, we have seen for ourselves that maintaining an up-to-date selection of Android tablets is challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The big benefit of BrowserStack is that we can test on more iPad models without having to purchase and maintain so many devices ourselves.

Good for automation testing, saves time
What do you like best about the product?
Main thing I like is how easily it works with my automation framework. I use Selenium mostly and it was not hard to connect with BrowserStack. You just run the test and it will execute on multiple browsers or devices, no setup required. Also I like the dashboard which shows session details and logs, helps in debugging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes execution feels bit slow specially on mobile. Also if internet is not stable, it disconnects. And one more thing is price, for more minutes or parallel runs you need to pay more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don’t have to maintain local setup for testing now. It’s easy to run automation on multiple browsers in cloud. This saves time and effort. We also use it in CI pipeline so now we get quick feedback after every deployment.
the best tool to automate mobile dev
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about BrowserStack is the ability to test on real devices. It gives me a more authentic feel for how things will actually perform on users' phones and desktops. Plus, the fact that you can run tests across different browsers quickly is super helpful for spotting issues early.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't love is the cost. It can get pretty pricey, especially if you're a smaller team or a freelancer. And sometimes, the performance feels a little slow, especially on mobile testing. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be annoying when you're trying to move fast.
