Impressive Cross-Browser Testing, but Pricing and Device Spin-Up Can Slow You Down

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The cross-browser coverage is genuinely impressive — being able to test against real devices and browsers without maintaining your own device lab saves a significant amount of time. The integration with CI pipelines is straightforward, and the live testing interface is responsive enough to actually be useful day-to-day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can feel steep for smaller teams, and the session spin-up time for real devices occasionally adds friction when you're trying to move quickly. It would be good to see faster boot times on some of the older Android devices in the fleet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating the need to maintain a physical device lab for cross-browser and cross-platform QA. It's reduced the time spent on environment setup and made it easier to catch browser-specific regressions before they reach production.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about BrowserStack is how easy it makes cross-browser and cross-device testing, without needing any physical devices or complicated setups.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it feels slow or a bit laggy, especially when running on real devices. Also, the pricing can be on the high side for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Intuitive and Speeds Up Work, but Slowdowns and Occasional Crashes Persist

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive, and it helps a lot in my daily work. Even though the performance is sometimes low, it still ends up speeding up my work overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s slow and the performance isn’t the best, with crashes from time to time. I’m testing the app’s visuals after the developers’ implementation, and because the quality is weak, it’s sometimes difficult. When I have to switch several times during the day between different app versions, it also takes some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets me test different app versions in my daily work without needing a physical device. I can easily switch between system platforms, device sizes, and app versions. I can also simulate different environments to check how the app will work in each one.
