Sophos a starting point for security
What do you like best about the product?
Professionalism, speed and resolution in managing cases, leaving autonomy to the MDR group for management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing cames to mind, for me it only has strong points
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If any anomaluous activity is detected, it is immediately analysed and isolated if necessary in a short time.

Sophos MDR Service help us to gain time for our strategic activity
What do you dislike about the product?
is not related to the service but on the service portal central sophos to hardening or give the chance of Report or the opportunity to extract data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solve in easy way and short term the posture related to the IT security and in second step, but not less important, help to gain time for the Internal IT Team

What do you like best about the product?
It is a combination of powerful automation and real human expertise delivered through tightly integrated security ecosystems. Top features of Sophos MDR :-Fast Response time; Deep Intergration with Sophos Products; customizable response modes(we can choose between Notify, Authorize and Collaborate-we can decide how hands on Sophos to be). It delivers enterprise level monitoring and response at fraction of what a full in house team will cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has limited visibility outside Sophos ecosystem.It works the best with Sophos tools and if we are using third party tool, visibility and correlation are limited. It has limited customization while reporting. While reports are clear but some users wish for more granular or customized dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving critical problem of 24/7 threat detection and response, especially for organization that don't have a dedicated in- house security operations Center(SOC) or the resources to monitor and act on threats around the clock. Sophos MDR gives us skilled threat responder, faster containment and clarity during incidents- without having to build our own SOC. Its like having an expert security team on stand by 24/7.
MDR Service provides great detection, remediation and follow up.
What do you like best about the product?
Response time, consistent follow ups in a timely manner, detail of threats in communications, remediation guidance provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited to 3 contacts, dashboard UI is not intuitive and can feel outdated

Helping identify, triage, respond and remediate threats.
Always on 24x7 Monitoing
What do you like best about the product?
It's a mostly set and forget systems that only requries an agent or cloud connector to be deployed. The setup scripts are easy to deploy, and the team pickup the phone almost instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the agents can be hard to understand due to thick accents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
24x7 monitoring and detection.

I really find the live response to be a life saver for users who are not on fabric but need to make changes.

Sophos MDR provides an overall good value and ease of use.
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos MDR team is great at determining what issues need to be escalated to the customer for further input and what issues can be handled in the background without interrupting the customer's other job duties.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting options are a bit weak, the ability to create more granular reports would be nice. Seeing more native integrations would be a plus, but the marketplace options do grow over time. A more customizable dashboard would also be an appreciated feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MDR helps our business in monitoring the status of a security posture across multiple products and data points so our internal team can focus their attention on other business needs.
Sophos MDR provides peace of mind, but modify settings if you handle government data.
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos MDR provides 24/7 monitoring of devices, which feels like a must have. Their response team has been easy to work with and helped us reduce false positive alerts so they can focus on the real threats. It was easy to implement in our environment and start getting visibility into threats.
What do you dislike about the product?
We handle DoD information, and there are several settings of Sophos MDR that had to be tweaked to be compliant with government regulations. Sophos is not currently FedRAMP moderate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MDR provides 24/7 monitoring. I no longer have to worry about having my laptop on me all the time, when I can get a phone call and have the MDR team take the response actions I require.
Reliable, Intelligent Endpoint Protection with Sophos
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos offers a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity tools that are both powerful and relatively easy to manage. The centralized dashboard is intuitive, making it straightforward to monitor threats, manage endpoints, and enforce policies across the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting features could be more customizable for specific compliance or audit needs and the pricing can be a consideration for smaller organizations, especially when adding additional modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MDR is helping us address several critical cybersecurity challenges, and the benefits have been substantial for our organization. Some of the problems solved by Sophos MDR include the lack of having a 24/7 threat monitoring and response, helping our team with overwhelming alert fatigue, lmited in-house security expertise and slow incident response.

What do you like best about the product?
Features for the price. The documentation is in-depth while being easy to understand and follow. MDR is a great value, specially since XDR is "included" with it, depending on which option you end up going with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could do better to support Google Workspace features like email clawback for Sophos Email (works great with Microsoft 365 though). Also, Linux is currently very limited in the features it has available to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a small IT team means we can not have a 24/7 SOC team internally. With Sophos MDR, we can give the Sophos SOC team the ability to remediate if/when they find any potential issues, even if it's at the high hours of the night, or we can configure it so they inform us before taking any action, or to take no action at all and let us do the work.
