Best End Point Security Vendor
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos MTR helps our organisation to prevent cyber attacks and their MTR team is always on the toes to hunt the cyber attack. Sophos MTR Rapid Response service is 24x7 ready to help our IT team and help us to get attacked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. We are most likely using all the features and they are quite helpful. Just 1 point if they can give Rapid Response with the standard protection, that will be cost effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are having just 2 IT members in our team and they are always busy with some or the other task. Sophos MTR team is taking care of our IT security on behalf of our team and that is helping us a lot.

What do you like best about the product?
Database always updated eith zero-day threads, and support is always there to help
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive, yet you can reach similar security results with cheaper products or opensource firewalls

Updated with latest security patches and smart learning of new threads.

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos is a robust EDR product that is easy for our IT to both utilize and interpet. We have the confidence of their MTR team to back us up when we need them. We are really happy with product versus what we were using previously.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support lead times can be a bit long. We have found they have always been able to escalate and help us when critically needed, however, we wish we didn't have to chase to get timely help when critical.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a rather lean IT department so we needed an EDR product that was easy for our staff to navigate but also had a support component we could utilize to fill in the gaps. Sophos is that product.

They are a competitive and strong contender in the world of security.

Take the Stress out of Managing your Threat Exposure
What do you like best about the product?
The timeliness of the support team in responding to threats identified in the environment and the summary of actions taken or to be carried out to mitigate perceived and identified threats. The simplicity of the deployment and the range of features within the platform that easily customisable to most business use cases that I could throw at it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application whitelisting and application control is there but is cumbersome and can be complicated and difficult to deploy, once it is deployed it also requires a fair bit of admin to maintain unless you want a lot of support requested when new applications are deployed or updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small IT Team that takes IT Security very seriously but operating in a lean manner means that we dont have the manpower or resource available in the team to be as proactive with threat response as we would like and certainly no time available or skill set in house to be able to carry out the forensics sometimes needed when something malicious does get on your network. Sophos solves that for us by providing access to a specialised company set up and skilled in how to deal with cyber security issues 24*7*365 which we can only dream of for the cost point.

Do yourself a favour and subscribe to MTR, I genuinely cant recommend it highly enough.

It notifies us when there is a threat from with the organization. it notfies us about sever patches that need to be applied

When it comes to unistalltion of the software. we are required to use a tamper code

What do you like best about the product?
The Sophos MTR Solution is a self-capable solution that proactively hunts for the threats and identifies any malicious attack that can disrupt our daily operations also a single dashboard helps monitor the activities happening across the IT Infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to hear from them on how well can it integrates with the non-Sophos solutions deployed in the environment, also on the pricing part it's costly compared to other vendors in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were being attacked frequently and had trouble finding the source of threat with MTR into the picture we not only receive the threat notification but also containment and remediation take place simultaneously.

We have been very happy with the MTR service so far.

As a relatively small IT team it allows us to maintain 24/7 monitoring without the additional resource. Equally, as Sophos are experts we know that any new threats will be identified without a learning curve on our side.
