Active and reliable protection with real human support

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful thing is to have a team of experts working in the background, detecting and responding to incidents before they become serious problems. The 24/7 analysis capability, detailed reports, and smooth communication with the Sophos team make a big difference.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, the experience has been very good, but if there's something I would improve, it would be that some reports could be presented in a simpler way so that non-technical people can also understand them without difficulty. Sometimes the amount of technical information can be overwhelming if one is not familiar with certain terms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MDR helps us face one of the biggest challenges we had: the lack of visibility and response to threats in real time. Before, we relied entirely on our internal capabilities, which were limited by resources and time.

With Sophos MDR, we now have a specialized team that constantly monitors our infrastructure, detecting suspicious behaviors, investigating incidents, and responding quickly. This has allowed us to reduce the risk of breaches, avoid major damage, and focus on our operations without constantly worrying about potential threats.

What do you like best about the product?
The detection of threats works great. We receive information about the incidents, but we only need to take action if the MDR team requires additional information.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not yet found a way to generally include "false positives" in a kind of "whitelist."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned at the beginning, we can focus our attention on other important tasks thanks to the work of Sophos and the MDR team. The MDR team performs their tasks to our full satisfaction, with most threats being directly eliminated by Sophos/the MDR team without us having to take action.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Sophos MDR is ease to use and implement, that it provides a real-time alerts and also actionable guidance. It can be 24/7 monitoring with powerful threat protection for the network, and they provide 24/7 support
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Sophos MDR they have not flexibility with third party security tool and many industries working on hybrid environment but the Sophos not integration with non-Sophos products. Ease of integration for continuous security operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MDR resolved the packet filtering, investigates and enhances incident response, prioritizes based alert send for the user and administration. Also, Sophos MDR is threat hunting.

Centralized Management Praised Despite Compatibility Issues With Outdated Linux Kernel

What do you like best about the product?
Central management with a single pane of glass and the live human response to our MDR incidents. Not having to check emails or alerts and just knowing that someone will look after the issue is really helpful and less stressful than having to keep an eye on email/teams all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into many downsides yet. The service has caught everything that it has detected since installation. Other than the software is using an outdated version of linux OS, I'm happy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to focus on the rest of our environment without having to worry about constantly checking emails/alerts regarding suspicious network activity. The human review factor give us peace of mind knowing that its not just AI doing the work but being double checked and confirmed by a human. The time from an alert to someone looking at it is very quick and again gives us peace of mind and time to work on more valuable tasks. I like the single pane of glass for the rest of our Sophos tools.

What do you like best about the product?
It removes the onus from our small team, namely myself, of detecting and evaluating and if needed responding to any malicious content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only real thing is the plethora of settings needed to get the system configured initially. This then makes it harder later on to remember why a setting was made if something strange occurs. This is usually due to an OS update or changes in the operations of a third party product or service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily it solved our need to have 24x7x365 monitoring and response to any malicious content that makes it onto a users device. Without the use of their MDR services I would require 8 additional Security personnel operating round the clock to keep us protected.

What do you like best about the product?
We are supervised by experts. Above all, protection outside of working hours is important to us. We can rely on support at any time. Sophos reacts faster than we can manage. Sophos only reports when it is necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no points of criticism. So far, we have had no problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
7/24 support is a real added value. They say "evil never sleeps" and neither does the good Sophos.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the "remote assistance" feature in Sophos central. This allows us to stay focused on our urgent tasks, while Sophos support efficiently works on resolving issues in the backend
What do you dislike about the product?
The lock down feature slows down the servers, this needs to be fixed or improvised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really appreciate the proactive notifications and recommendations from the SOC team. I like the "remote assistance" feature in Sophos central

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos MDR provides around the clock monitoring by a team of security experts.

The ability to contain threats within minutes is always consistent .

The response team was incredible, The MDR team can Neutralize a threat before even an organization finds it .
What do you dislike about the product?
The Sophos agent (Especially when using with Intercept x with MDR) is a resource heavy and can noticeably slow down endpoints particularly during scans or updates .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT team is bombarded with constant alerts from Endpoint, Firewall and other tools ...
But Sophos MDR filters out the noise and investigates, validates threats, this help IT team to reduced alert fatigue and missed real threats .

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Sophos MDR to manage around 100 endpoints, and it’s proven to be a practical solution.

You get solid threat detection and response without the hefty price tag. It’s not flashy, but it does the job well. The setup was straightforward, and the service has been reliable. Alerts are clear, and the response team is quick to act when needed.

For a mid-sized environment, it offers a good balance of coverage and cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved with Sophos MDR is the level of customisation in alert handling. It is all quite generic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MDR helps solve a key challenge for us: having limited in-house resources to monitor and respond to threats around the clock. It effectively extends our team, giving us access to security experts who can jump in when needed.
