Qlik for Business Reporting & Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool. It Provides great reporting options. You can improve your business productivity by optimizing your reports with Qlik. You can use the free trial to experience it first.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although its a great tool but it does not compete with the latest tools available in the market at this stage. Sometimes processing is slow that wastes your valuable time. Also a bit costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it's great for data analysis purposes. we used Qlik to manage our data, make valuable insights with the data and further improve business performance. Overall its a good tool but also have cost associated with it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
try using trial version first. and do not buy lots of user accounts as it is costly. once you start using you will find out the benefits associated and then you can make better purchase decision.

What do you like best about the product?
To get better business insights, first step is to collect, organize and enrich organization's metadata. Qlik Catalog is most advanced, easy to implement data management solution for cataloging that best supports data discovery and governance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any cons in mplementing Qlik Catalog.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
People come and go in IT, having metadata information centralized , organized across business applications helps in getting better business insights in short period. Even new joinee can pull required report easily using catalog which is ROR for business attribute definitions.

expensive larger data volumes and needs some fine-tuning of User interface

Most of the feauture are accurate and working. I don't have any least for now.

The basic premise of being able to view, and use the data as one similar to an e-commerce platform catalog, making it easier and intuitive to use.

The UI is on the right track for future enablement, but does have a scope of improvement and needs more fine-tuning to make it more appealing and useful for the users.

Getting right and detailed insights on a large amount of varied data available in a quantified and qualified manner. This coupled with an in-time solution is something that's needed to gain real benefits.

I didn't like the exported reports to excel cause there was no report names so it's messy when you want to archieve.
Also the filters are not shown in the reports which makes you confused on which filters you used before.

Organizing the database and ai guess it's a really easy tool to extract data as you can deep dive in all attributes in an easy way. Unlike other tools like spss

As an everyday Qlik Sense user, I find Qlik Catalog to be extremely helpful if you are in constant need to shop for data securely and seamlessly. It allows the user to also export and share your own data sets to Qlik Sense apps very fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be very expensive if you'll be purchasing a lot of data sets to the point that you may even consider finding alternative ways to fulfill your data needs. Also, processing data sets from Qlik Catalog can take a lot of your RAM, beware if you don't have that much power.

Managing data is easy with Qlik Catalog, since it offers an easy way to make your analysis and, with that, take less time with documentation and data retrieval.
