Formstack, a must have!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the logic editor. Formstack is the only place ive found with the extensive amount of tools to allow you to customize a list however you want!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the way sections are organized. When you create a complicated form, it becomes difficult to navigate (on the back end)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The forms allow us to accomplish a plethora of tasks. We can get insights from our membership as well as staff internally. It also allows us to bridge gaps between different software programs.
Powerful flexible tool, but UX is a bit rough
What do you like best about the product?
Formstack is a great way to have surveys and landing pages up and running within minutes. It has a strong logic mechanism and a lot of question types and a lot of customization options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user experience and interface are a bit cluncky and it feels a bit outdated compared to it's competitors out there in the market. It may require a large overhaul to keep up with the times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've made a really cool sign up page with formstak, connecting this landing page into our own database using their strong Zapier integration, we've actually been able to create a really cool mini-product that connects via API to our products.
Formstack is easy to use and very versatile!

Formstack has been a great tool for us. We use it for membership signups, event registration, surveys, and more!

We have recently had some issues with Salesforce integration, but we are still investigating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formastack makes it very easy to quickly build forms that integrate with several of our other platforms, making it flexible and streamlined.
Formstack is extremely user friendly and has proven to be a useful tool for my organization.
What do you like best about the product?
Formstack is designed to be user-friendly, making creating forms easy to accomplish and maintaining records less time-consuming than other software programs. It also has an easy way to export the data to be used to make decisions that affect the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the data collected from the forms when pulling reports is unnecessary for the information I am drawing, such as the timestamp. Also, when exporting data, sometimes the data is organized in a way that creates more work in the long run.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack creates a universal location to keep information that is submitted to the organization. It also allows for certain people to be notified when new entries are made and approval for certain things.
Efficient and Effective
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize forms with conditional functions is invaluable
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to select entire sections and move as a group or to auto-rename specific sections when duplicated or copied is lacking

Formstack enables the tracking of data and response in an organized fashion and can be located with ease

Formstack has allowed our country wide and now international company to become far more streamlined

Some limitation around workflows of the forms as well as levels of reporting we require
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack consistently assist our business whether through simple fixes or longer training on how we can better utilise the program for our business.
It was good for its time, but other solutions (like TypeForm) are better now
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with other services (via Webhooks, emails, plugins, etc) is really great! It's also easy for non-devs to use, and easy to integrate into existing web-applications (such as our SPA app using Angular). The approval workflows also let us allow non-devs to approve or reject requests for common actions requested by customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The end-user experience isn't so great (for users submitting the forms). Mobile support could be better, and the reporting system is quite lacking. Solutions such as TypeForm are far superior experience for the end users.
Pricing is also a little high for the features it offers (which is essentially the same as just HTML forms support). It also doesn't allow having a pool of reviewers where ANYONE is allowed to review, nor does it have a convinient slack connection for approval workflows.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack allows non-technical users to create and edit forms. It also lets us have an approval workflow that can allow certain internal staff to review, and approve, submissions form customers BEFORE triggering workflows internally that provision things (such as adding an email domain for a customer).

Very easy to use and has so many features.

Sometimes the Credit Card field doesn't operate correctly.

Versatile, scalable form solution - with some caveats
What do you like best about the product?
Formstack is very versatile and scaleable - it can handle simple event registrations with just a few attendees, or it can be scaled up to allow for hundreds of responses. It can be integrated with a large selection of other services, including payment processors for paid merchandise, events, etc.
Its logic system is also fairly robust, and there have been several quality of life features added over time, such as Smartlists, template editing, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options for dynamic form fields. For example, I would like to show or hide questions based on date, number of responses to a certain question, etc. You can account for these things if you plan ahead, and Formstack does provide a few workarounds for different things, but none of these solutions are very elegant. Formstack also can have a steep learning curve - building standard forms is simple enough, but there's a whole wealth of additional integrations that can be leveraged to great effect, and these take time and trial and error to learn.
There are also occasionally odd bugs related to form logic, specifically when forms are used on iOS devices.

Formstack is our primary solution for forms and lead generation. It's easy to integrate with other services, easy to create "workflows," embeds work well, etc.
It is vey easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It saves time and uses emails instead of meeting f2f

Nothing. It looks just fine to use for changing majors for our students
