User Friendly and simple integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy it is to build the form using drag and drop features. Also love how easy it is to map fields to Salesforce objects. Competitors don't ave very good integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish you could embed links into field labels instead of finding work arounds.Could use a better Mailchimp integration, don't like that you can't opt-in by making a checkbox right on the form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack solves the issue we had of getting our leads into our CRM in real-time. Also getting it into excel sheets in real-time, so we use the Google Sheets integration.
Easy to use as a payment platform
What do you like best about the product?
Formstack makes it easy to provide approvals for invoices, forms, and contracts,
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Formstack
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving approval flow and communication by making it instant and allowing for more productivity.
It's a good platform but there are some challenges if your not familiar working within workflows.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build forms and have it was a one stop shop for your teams to complete reports or other reoccurring forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The self help videos are primarily used for Salesforce. At the least from the videos I have seen on youtube.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automate signature process for reports.
Formstack changes the form game
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to change, edit, and duplicate forms is a game-changer. Having the ability to have all your forms in one login for our clients makes updating that much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
No too much to dislike. The ability to give more unique permissions to clients would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly add and edits form for our clients.
Formstack
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to integrate forms into our platform for people to easily complete. Additionally going paperless allows users to easily be able to complete their information getting them access to services faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having the ability to download the form into a word document (if you want to have a copy for your records and/or review with team members if we want to make changes)
The logic doesn't always work the way you want it too, sometimes it doesn't take the logic you're trying to set up properly.
Having an auto-fill section (i.e. if people need to enter their names or other information multiple times you should have a easy fill button to select) making it easier for users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier for the customers using our services.
Great form tool
What do you like best about the product?
Webhook is the best feature that i use most. it gives great control over the submissions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formstack stores data for 7 days once a submission is deleted. this is not really useful for sensitive data and for the PPI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
automated forms so dont need to spend time on creating forms. saves tons of development hours
Good basic program for school registrations
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to create our own forms and make changes to the forms. Then we just published the link and the registrations fed right into the spreadsheet. Very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure that there were downsides for us. I did not have a part in the decision to switch from formstack to monday.com so I don't know if formstack could have done all that we wanted it to do. It was a great program the two years that we used it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking to create an online registration form for our school and have it load into a spreadsheet so we could then upload the data into our software. Problem solved!
Easy to Use and Locate Information
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Formstack contains all the answers for a given form in one easy-to-find location based on the person's name filling them out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan that it is somewhat disorganized in terms of information folders. I think my company would benefit greatly from having various forms & answers to those forms in categorizable folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently collecting our clients' ad spend billing information, answers to onboarding intake questions, and other miscellaneous details needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am not necessarily sure what other platforms look like out there, but for my company's purposes, this is an effective way of collecting and storing information.
WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT EXPERIENCE EVER - BEWARE
What do you like best about the product?
ability to integrate custom scripting into forms, however, the way that they implement forms is way too legacy and will make your website unable to pass Google Core Web Vitals. This is because they use document.write functions, which are not recommended by anyone ... but they are using this still. Google talks about "how to remove document.write" here: https://developer.chrome.com/blog/removing-document-write/
What do you dislike about the product?
They say that this is a "codeless" form solution when you really need deep knowledge of CSS, scripting, etc to integrate properly. If you want a basic basic form, this is good, but the way they sell it is misleading.
Do not count on their customer support for anything. When I am asking them for help, but it's evident that they know less than a most about complex integrations, it's a waste of your time. I've reached out to their support no less than 10 times with no help whatsoever.
I've had an issue where the javascript in their forms is jumping the forms up on page. When embedded on their site or ours, the behaviour is the same, but they claimed it was not doing it on theirs, but just "not as much" as on my embed of the form. So we both agreed that it was jumping up, but they still claimed it was my problem to deal with and not theirs to assist me with... despite it being an issue in their javascript.
VERY DISAPPOINTED to be told over and over again that it wasn't their problem.
Here is their response again:
--------------------------
I regret that your experience with support has been less than ideal and appreciate you sharing your feedback with us.
In cases such as this where the issue is not reproducible on our end, not being reported by any other clients and the native form itself is working as expected - we can only conclude that there are some elements on your webpage that are causing it to jump like it is when embedded.
Once again, please consider reaching out to the professional services team to help you with this. Since we have no ownership over your website and are unable to reproduce the problem natively with the form, it is out of the scope of what our support and engineering teams can help troubleshoot.
I'm truly sorry for any inconvenience or delays caused as a result.
---------------------------
I've had 3 external javascript professionals tell me that it was the javascript on their side that was causing their forms to jump upon clicking the "next" button on their forms.
I've submitted tickets, got on a call where a "support person" told me that because the "name of the form" I had NAMED it was called "mobile only", that because of that, I was having problems? What kind of support is that!?? It had NOTHING to do with the form jumping up. It was simply what I had named it..
Sick of their support! sick of it. I've invested so much time and effort only to be called a liar at the end of this. So unprofessional.

adding forms to our website
FYI adding their forms is like dating the wicked witch. You'll get everything you need and nothing you want. You'll encounter some major roadblocks that only a developer will be able to overcome. For example: #1 If a user hits the "Submit" button two multiple times before the data is sent, the form will error out.
Embedding the form will require you to create custom javascript so that the forms don't bounce up to the top of your website. This was a real pain. Their customer support attempted to make me feel as if it were my problem and not theirs. After showing them this issue on a Wordpress site embed, a plain html site embed, they still said they couldn't reproduce the problem and therefore it was just my problem. They did not help us.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need customization and support, it's really not for you. Their support team only knows how to use the forms, they don't know how to troubleshoot them, fix them or even send you in the right direction to fix them. If you are considering this solution and you have a budget that's any larger than 3K to build, it's better to go the custom route and hire a developer and have your forms developed and deployed locally. This form builder is a real thorn in the side of core web vitals. You will not pass with mobile as they are using legacy ways of displaying forms using "document.write" function which is inherently slow. On top of that, you cannot apply defer/async to these forms without them disappearing from your site.
Helps tremendously!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to use and access all of the forms we have. There are so many integrations offered that makes things super simple!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything that I dislike. Everything is great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to use a different service, but once we switched over, there are way less issues we run into and everything is so streamlined.
