What do you like best about the product?
TheFormstack platform is reasonably intuitive to set up and navigate. Form templates are easy to build and edit. As a higher education institution, we utilize Formstack to contract work with our outside teaching partners. The functionality of Forms allows us to obtain all of the information required when entering into a new partnership. Moving our application to Formstack has significantly increased the rate at which we are able to move new clients through the onboarding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Formstack's simplified platform makes the front-end process a breeze, it comes at the cost of advanced editing within Forms. A broader ability to customize specific fields and additional trigger conditions would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are grateful that Formstack allows for unique situations. As an individual department with niche needs, we do not always benefit from the programs and systems set in place by the greater university. Where other services have only accommodated a portion of our requirements, Forms allows us to create documentation that suits the larger percentage of our needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Formstack has integrated will with a multitude of our needs. We do wish customer service was more responsive.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you receive all information you need in one place. I like that you can do precise calculations to have the results that you want. You can use all the information outside the platform and make calculations with excel using the excellent data export options. Organizing forms using folders is so easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sincerely I wouldn't say I like that I want to search for a specific survey and can't do that on a page. You can search only on to the first page. The system is slow sometimes. At times, especially when you have several forms, it can be challenging to find what you're looking for. On the other hand, it can be slow when you have too many submissions and perform a search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to know some issues our clients were facing, and in a short time, we received the information we required creating a survey on Formstack. We've been using it to deploy online forms and applications. We've used it to create simple Frequently Asked Questions pages with the ability to send additional questions. When received on Outlook, we just hit the reply button and we can perform good customer support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's perfect when you need a tool that allows you to create easy to understand online forms. But make sure you know the basics of Formstack before deploying any form.

What do you like best about the product?
Delivers my reports swiftly, automates all the manual processes that I used to have to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike is that it needs to be a little smoother when building the form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to quickly collect reimbursement information for my board which saves staff time instead of doing it manually.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up slick surveys without any coding necessary, and integrates to a lot of the tools that we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit tedious integrating certain tools, but that's more on the other tool than Formstack
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We complete client intakes and other surveys throughout the year

Best Forms Program

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use makes it great for us to use and for us to distribute forms to others to fill out. We use different software systems for different parts of our mission (Program vs. Fundraising) The forms we receive help us populate the data in a really slick way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The back end seems a little more complex to deal with. I don't have any experience, but when I ask for changes to the form and the data in the dropdowns, it appears difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since everyone works from home - and in different parts of the city, we can no longer have a paper system to transfer invoices and documentation among colleagues. Formstack works GREAT for that!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great user-friendly tool for all kinds of forms.

What do you like best about the product?
Formstack gives me nearly absolute control over the look and feel of my forms. I can customize any form using CSS and other template tools to make an embedded form seamlessly melt into my website. I have tried the same with a handful of other leading and well-known form solutions and always have funky results.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest frustration, perhaps, is that anyone assigned to approve a form submission counts against my total paid user seats. I have a bunch of people that never have a hand in creating any of the forms. All I need them to do is receive a notification, review the submission and approve or reject. But that requires a user license. This is a minor inconvenience in the big picture, though, because only a few of my 100+ forms utilize the approval feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have provided our end users and constituents with a seamless public website and internal Intranet experience by using embedded and branded forms. And, unrelated, I have been able to eliminate dozens of processes previously managed entirely with paper or email-attached documents.

Great product with mediocre support

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy formstack is to use and edit. You can create complex or simple forms relatively easily with little learning curve. It truly is a product made for creating any type of form you could think of.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn't a fan of the support. We had a lot of help during onboarding, but once we were an official customer the support went down to very low quality. We got bounced around between account manager and support rep and would have to wait 3 days between simple responses. Due to the compelx nature of the form we were trying to produce, and the lack of support, it ended up taking over a month to get our form up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problems with secure information intake from potential customers. We definitely realized the automation benefit of using the formstack solution versus manually intaking and filling out the information ourselves. It took a laborious task and turned it into something simple with little upkeep.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool, but make sure you get all of your support needs taken care of before you start paying for the product. Customer support drops to nothing once you're buckled into a contract.

Intuitive, Feature-Rich Form Software

What do you like best about the product?
In my brief time with it, FormStack has quickly become my preferred form software. I've used several form platforms in recent years, but FormStack offers the most robust options in terms of adding form logic, customizing questions, and reporting on the back-end for those who make forms. It also offers options for receiving payments in the forms, which I have not used as of this writing, but have heard good things about from my coworkers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting interface is not the most intuitive. This is good because it allows you to implement a pretty significant amount of granular edits to what comes out. However, it can make it challenging to just get a simple print-off of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FormStack allows us to quickly build intuitive, user-friendly forms with logic that adheres to the form's specific needs. Built-in collaboration tools also makes it easy to share forms between users at our institution.

Ease of Use, Salesforce integration brings great benefits

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Besides some particularly tricky formulas, learning and using Formstack has been a breeze. The integration with Salesforce has made life easier - using the prefill and being able to connect data from forms to a Contact's record is a great time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
When my Salesforce password changes, I usually have to rebuild the integration in Formstack, remapping the fields. The process for updating credentials is clunky and frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to prefill forms to allow recipients to review their current data in Salesforce is extremely beneficial (and also makes forms easier to fill out for them). Not having to import data into Salesforce is a huge time saver.
