Formstack Forms: A Good Option for Forms Requiring Logic
What do you like best about the product?
I use Formstack Forms at least weekly, and often multiple times per week. I love that we can add as much logic as needed to each form. My company has some really long, complex forms, and it's great that I can hide sections and fields as needed to prevent team members from having to put "N/A" as a response hundreds of times. The email automation is a big plus - it is easy to update settings to include the submitters manager/director on the submissions. This prevents the admin support team from having to manually forward responses to the appropriate manager. Form permissions are also great. It is nice that we have the flexibility to choose which folders our admins have access to. This allows admins throughout the company to edit their forms as needed which still protecting sensitive information provided on responses to HR, security, and accounting forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
When building forms in Formstack, I wish that the build panel was bigger. Sometimes it can be hard to see what items exist when the build panel is so small. When building a form, I think it would be more valuable to see more of the build panel (like logic, field name, drop-down options, etc.) than more of the form preview which currently takes up most of the screen.
I wish that there were more safeguards in place for errors that may occur when a field is deleted from a form. For example, we have an HR form that sends submission info via email if a certain item from a drop-down box is selected. The item was renamed last year, and the item name was not automatically updated in email settings. This resulted in several submissions being missed as no notification was sent.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation: We are able to get the information from the team members to the correct department quickly and easily. It is nearly impossible for the teams to know who to email for expense reports, incident reports, perks and benefits, etc. and Formstack takes away the need to know these people's names and email addresses.
Analytics: We are able to export responses easily which helps us identify trends in responses. This is super helpful when planning upcoming projects!

Streamlined form builds
What do you like best about the product?
Formstack is very user friendly in terms of building forms, establishing integrations to the CRM and adding conditional logic for both informational and commerce forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had a few random issues where functionality has stopped working without notice and/or we've had to rebuild fields, without a clear explanation for what happened.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a solution to facilitate basic commerce sales of items like t-shirts and mugs. We also need a user friendly interface to collect bio-demo information from constituents. Formstack allowed us to solve for both and is easy to use from a training perspective.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of designing forms. Implementation is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "Approval" option is not as obvious to people. They often miss the process giving delays to the flow. So integration is a bit of a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to do a lot of monitoring and follow-ups with the signees or approvers once a form gets sent to them. I used the email as the acknowledgement or approval. This is very tideous and takes a lot of my time. With Formstack Forms, I do not do that anymore. Once I get a notification of submission, I just wait for the final signed form and the process is complete.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use: building, automation, number of features are all easy to use. Integration and Implementation were easy to do.

No cons; every interaction I've had with the platform has been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the tool to collect data from multiple regions and lines of business, using customized forms for each topic
Formstack is a big help for our business!
What do you like best about the product?
We use Formstack Forms almost daily in our business. Multiple users in our company use the forms and it is so much easier than what we were using before for our contracts. Customer support is always helpful and quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that i dislike about Formstack was the learning curve! So it was all on me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple contracts that go out weekly and using Formstack Forms and it definitely saving us all time, and everything is easy to access.
Formstack is very easy to use, easy to integrate with third party apps and our own website.

Integration options. One drive, drop box, zapier, web plugins, all of this is what we use on daily basis with Formstack, very easy to implement changes without stopping services.
Support is great. Not the we needed a lot but at one instance we had it was very smooth interaction and good experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
Can't really think of any. Will get back to you if I ever find something I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication issues with partners. Instead of getting tons of email we mostly don't need in our inbox and very hard to find later we make a form that partner or employee can submit, form get's delivered to right person and we have availability to review if needed at any stage.

What do you like best about the product?
There is so much to enjoy about Formstack, we use it for employee sign-ups, communication, logs, etc. I really enjoy the versatility of the builder options. You can make a form for pretty much anything! I also enjoy the ability to add logic to forms and the notifications you can set up independently. We use it daily and it integrates well with our other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had an option to allow for us to ensure 1 form submission per person and still allow them to remain anonymous.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved our problem with reaching our employees... It minimizes confusion and clutter.

ease of implementation and ease of integration with Salesforce and other systems
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more rules based capabilities to do AND statements with OR statements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack solves the problem of allowing us to collect data via the web securely and then apply a workflow to engage multiple users or pass that data to Salesforce CRM to work with in that environment. We also use it to take payments via credit card on the web through the authorize.net integration.

Creating a form is easy and efficient at Formstack.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to get instant help from a help desk.

They don't really solve our problems. They give you a tutorial on how to fix it yourself.
