We love formstack!
What do you like best about the product?
The app and easy-to-use dashboard. The customer service is great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't edit forms via the app. The iPad app could use a few more options too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We continue to find new ways to utilize Formstack to make our organization more efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
Formstack makes tasks that could be complex surprisingly easy. We continue to find new ways to utilize the product from standard forms that we use, event RSVPs, event fundraising, complex applications, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer if features that were not available to our package were not advertised as if they were a feature only to click on a link to add something and be directed to an upgrade page. I would also love a way for a form to be exported as if it were a paper form rather than a two-column spreadsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to eliminate paper applications for grantmaking and scholarships which can include many uploaded documents and be fairly long. The logic helps make the applications very clear for those applying and removing any confusion that could exist by saying "skip to question X if no..." applied for an applicant. We have reduced our paper usage and applicant/user satisfaction by having an easy format and save/resume.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cost was an issue for us. As a non-profit, a discount was also considered during our search.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that for the most part FormStack is user friendly. It's easy to create/edit forms and review data. They also have great customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike. Sometimes new updates can be a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have an easy way to gather data. The benefits are being able to use FormStack for a variety of different reasons.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The simplicty of the website and great costumer service representatives and feedback are reasons why I would recommend FormStack to others.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to customize everything. The templates included are great and all you need to get started. But for a big brand it's really crucial to be able to tweak even the smallest items.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything substantial I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack allows us to create beautiful branded forms across separate organizations in our enterprise. These forms help with user engagement, donation capture, and lead generation.
Formstack Newbie to Pro
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to pull data quickly, especially for my boss in a pinch!
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of training.
No webinars, help desk, etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we've connected more with our police department and human services providing them real time data about our senior patients who require more care than they have. I've see this program be able to help so many more people in less time that what we were doing before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know someone who already utilizes the product because they don't provide much training on how to use the product unless you are "selling" something.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick form building and conditional data delivery based on users' responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data formatting options could be better. For example, our customer database requires that state be listed by 2-letter abbreviation. I had to create that manually. I would also like to see some more robust design options. It's a little hard to get the form design I want based on the class structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data collection and contest entry are the primary uses, but we also use it for customer feedback and lead generation.

You'll be amazed at how much you can do with Formstack. From customer feedback to lead generation to user generated content, Formstack has a way to do it.
Formstack User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Formstack since 2009 and have found the best feature is the versatility and variety of field options offered (calculated, conditional logic, matrix, dropdowns, etc.). Additionally, the integrations have been incredibly helpful connecting/automating form data to other applications/programs (ex: lead to CRM, payment processing, etc...)
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface, on occasion, has been glitchy but I'm not sure if that is a browser issue or not (I switch back and forth from Safari and Chrome). Working with sections and duplicating fields get hung up every now and then but nothing that has shut down form production. The analytics (charts and graphs) are pretty basic and a little challenging to use to get the right visual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems that Formstack helps with in our businesses is the ability to automate form data to business owners, customers, internal use. Eliminating manual data entry has streamlined lead notifications and quicker follow up, market trends and intelligence. My business deals with multiple affiliated companies who use their own CRM systems and have their own best practices for lead and general business data capturing. Formstack's integration and web hook options has made it possible to distribute notifications and form data to multiple companies that run on different systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For a new Formstack user, I would make sure that their existing data management (lead gen, survey, payment portal) integrates with Formstack. If you use a CRM, new Formstack user need to understand how Formstack pushes form data into their existing system.
formstack is a great tool but tends to only work correctly on google chrome. it also freezes a lot.

The form creation and logic tools are top of the line. we use these forms daily in our business

the loading times and only being able to use chrome

we collect information using these surveys from our customers. without this tool we would not be able to offer the best service to our customers
Very Happy, but can lack some real developer features
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for building simple forms. Nice form builder interface. Their APIs and web hooks are really great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the advanced features often seem rushed, and lack one little piece that would make them truly powerful. Such as the ability to embed html, it is a great feature but you can not pass it parameters based on form values which would be very helpful. Same for conditional logic for sections, great feature, but you can't base it on text fields.

Fantastic Form Building Software
What do you like best about the product?
Formstack's Pardot integration makes it incredibly easy to spin up any custom form that we want and then pipe that into a Pardot form handler for our marketing automation. This combined with their drag-and-drop form builder has made them a vital part of our marketing stack.
Also want to mention that the "Partial Submissions" feature has been great in not only getting information from otherwise dropped leads, but we can now also gain more insight into what is causing them to bail.

What do you dislike about the product?
Customizing forms is a little limited, at least for someone wanting to just apply their own custom CSS and HTML. The theme editor gets the job done but I would like to be able to just have a barebones form that I can skin with only our own stylesheets instead of having to override the defaults.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the Partial Submissions feature we can now capture leads that would've otherwise been lost. Sometimes people bail because they aren't ready to make a decision yet, there could be technical hiccups or they just forget to hit submit. This grants us the ability to follow up with those would-be lost leads.
