Simplifies Data Collection
What do you like best about the product?
Formstack makes creating forms and surveys extremely easy, whether to collect robust data for research or to get quick rsvps for an event. I even use Formstack as a teacher--I will create a form that requires students to submit a relevant reflection, link the formstack to a qr code that students can quickly use, and then display student responses for in-class discussion. Formstack is particularly helpful because it allows for file submission. I also like that I can easily share the live link, without worrying about complex distribution via email. Finally, I like that I can download all response data as a csv. I use formstack to gather some sort of data almost every week, and I like that I can keep track of my long list of ongoing forms!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could find a way to download submitted files in bulk--it seems I have to download them one-by-one, unless I'm missing something. It would also be nice to be able to apply custom themes to a form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I previously did not have a clear way to accept responses that included questionairres answers as well as file submission. People applying for programs I facilitate would have to submit a form, and then email separate documents. This led to the possibility that I wouldn't receive the email, or I might accidently lose the documents, or pair the wrong documents with the wrong forms. I also found other similar products were more complicated and required more time for me to create and distribute a form. With Formstack, I can create a form within minutes before a meeting, if necessary.
My experience with Formstack has been very positive.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that they are quick and easy to set up and to update. The integrations have been especially valuable to us, especially the Google Sheets connector and the Stripe sales transaction connection. We use a lot of software tools, and Formstack requires the fewest support requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
Design capabilities are limited. It would be nice to have more control of form and field styling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can be challenging to collect registration or buyer information in a clean easy way. This tool has proven to be very valuable here. We recently used the Stripe integration for the first time for a fundraiser and have been very pleased.

What do you like best about the product?
Formstack has been the only form collection provider that is both open-ended and advanced enough to handle our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
We struggle with Formstack not being School specific, and having to pay extra for the level of support we require. While we so appreciate the open ended-ness and advanced features, schools have limited staff, and especially limited skill sets, so having access to one on one customer support would be a game changer for us at schools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to push a school into 2023 in terms of digital maturity, we are about 5-10 years behind, but starting to make progress. Our consumer base (parents and students) has adapted to an ever changing digital society, and they expect the level of digitally maturity they experience in their daily lives to translate to us (a school). We have been working for the last two years to convert all paper forms, event registrations, and payments to digital. Formstack provides the avenue we need to meet our consumer expectations. Along with this, on the back-end we are trying to collect, clean, and use our data more productively- Formstack has made it easier to collect, share and track this data.

The customization of the forms is so helpful!

Sometimes it's a pain when editing a form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's keeping our forms organized and our team effectively working together.
Good but can improve with the signing feature
What do you like best about the product?
The forms are easy to create in the form area. The complicated items are when creating workflows, document merging, routing, and then signing. Also careful with pricing and merges. They charge you for every merge and this can get pricey.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many places where one item could be changed and then downstream changes. Wish they would be clear where a change needs to made.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We digitized forms to remove paper and to improve effeciency. All forms are signed and then have to now go through Docusign for Part11 Compliance.

They are too fast to increase the price without any real improvements to the system. The support is horrible because it's done with a ticket that takes too long to get a response

What do you like best about the product?
Formstack has always been my go-to platform for creating forms at any company I've worked at. It is the most user-friendly and intuitive service I've ever tried. I can accomplish anything with its capabilities: surveys, quizzes, custom styling, and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
Form data gets deleted when a field is removed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't even bother using the forms feature in our CMS. Formatack does it all. We use it to capture lead data from giveaways, surveys, and best of all we use it for quizzes in our "Learn & Earn" program which helps our loyalty members learn about our products and engage with our website.
Formstack has made business processes simple and more efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
The submission feature helps for tracking data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful feature is the approvers all need to approve before an email can be sent out to the users. It would be helpful if we can indicate who is eligible to approve and allow the email to be sent with their approval.

Formstack provides a central location for storing data from students. It also allows us to copy previous forms with ease.
