Brandshield is the best!
What do you like best about the product?
Brandshield is one of our most trusted partners in helping protect our IP. I love the prompt and clear communication between us and Brandshield. Additionally, it is very easy to report websites through the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
This could be me, but I think the search feature could be improved on the platform. There are times where I would like to quickly search a website, but I have to filter to the category (social media, websites) first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to report websites that infringe on IP. Reporting websites on Brandshield is one of the first parts of my workflow when we discover them. More often than not, Brandshield already has identified them.

What do you like best about the product?
For many years we would try and enforce counterfeit or IP violating products on our own, passing these tasks off on to Branshield has alleviated a lot of the stress and has made a huge impact on how we spend our time enforcing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service has been amazing but you need to stay on top of them and make sure you are feeding them with the correct information in order for them to build a proper database. That is not really a dislike, but more of a reality, the more you help them build, the better the results will be.

We've been very pleased with our experience working with BrandShield. From day one, our account manager stood out—thorough, responsive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. He quickly got up to speed on the ins and outs of our business, which isn’t always easy in a specialized industry. That upfront investment paid off. We saw tangible results fast—especially in the takedown of counterfeit products.
One thing that impressed me was how clearly everything was explained. It’s rare to find a vendor that feels like an extension of your team, but that’s how it felt here. The platform is also intuitive and the reporting is clear

Really didn't see any downsides. It is an investment, but in our case, it was worth it.

They are finding and removing counterfeit products from websites and marketplaces. It helps protect our brand as well as protect consumers from getting substandard counterfeit products

the portal is not as user friendly as it could be

they have been updating their portal as we have worked with them, and they do handle some websites for us so I do not even have to approve or deny listings.
Excellent combo of trademark & copyright tools to enforce intellectual property in one place
What do you like best about the product?
many DMCA firms cannot do Trademark enforcement because theyre not attorneys. Brandshield has attorneys so in one place, we could manage all enforcement. BrandShield also used other cyber security tools to go after hard to reach intellectual property servers in countries that dont adhere to US law

price is high, but if we assembled our own team of cyber security, attorney, and office workers to patrol and take down stolen content, it would cost us more.

the take down stolen intellectual property. if the property is stolen and monetized, we lose money. it's pretty straightforward.

BrandShield has been a helpful tool in protecting our brand from fraudulent sites and impersonators. They’re effective at takedowns, quick, and responsive when contacted, which we really value.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement would be more transparency in the takedown process, having clearer timelines or progress updates would make it easier to track what's happening behind the scenes.

BrandShield helps us combat online impersonation and fraudulent websites that target our brand. It reduces the risk of customer confusion and potential scams, which helps us protect our reputation and maintain trust.

Regular update sessions and dedicated representative. Clear expectations. Great results. Patient and flexible team. Weekly and quarterly reviews so we can see our process. Can be as hands on or hands off as we like.

Would be great if they could tackle defamation claims. Onboarding could be shorter.

Trademark abuse and phishing websites - cut the time the internal team previously spent reviewing these. Efficient and great support.

I wish BrandShield would adopt a communication platform like Slack. We use it extensively and it would help in communication.
