Wiz is best in class for teams of all size
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz provides teams of all size visibility and helps identify gaps in their cloud infrastructure. They excel at many things and are always working with their customers to find countless other areas to bring value in. Wiz really is as flexible of a tool as there is and only limited by the knowledge and ability of your team to leverage the functionality.
Besides it's obvious functionality as a CSPM, Wiz enables teams customizability that fit in with their Security mission - whatever that may be. It's a very low maintenaince tool that gives teams the time back to focus on the priorities that matter. It's an easy sell to any organization - it meets all the requirements you could have any with almost no compute overhead and reliability - the tool scales with your org at an instant.
Wiz also provides some of the best customer service in the industry and is extremely competitive in terms of pricing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz often times will release new features that are intended on being "tested" - this can mean that if you don't understand what the value or use case is, they can feel not "production" ready. Some orgs can be turned off by this, but for an org with proper technical resources you'll be able to provide feedback to Wiz to help shape the feature(s) to what you really need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz solves a multiple of problems - primarily as our Cloud vulnerability scanning solution, but also provides visibility into our overall posture and tracks our compliance adherance making audits that make faster.
Wiz has given me the tools to stay one step ahead of cyber threats.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Wiz is a powerful tool for automating security and compliance processes in the cloud, there are some potential downsides or areas where it may not be as helpful as expected. Here are some of the least helpful aspects of Wiz:
1. Dependence on cloud providers: Wiz is built around the major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP. While this makes it easy to integrate with these platforms, organizations using other cloud providers or on-premises environments may find Wiz less useful.
2. Limited integration with other tools: While Wiz integrates with some other security and compliance tools, its integration capabilities are limited compared to other automation tools. This can make it difficult for organizations to integrate Wiz with their existing toolset.
3. Steep learning curve: While Wiz provides a user-friendly interface, the sheer amount of features and capabilities can make it challenging for new users to learn and master the tool. This can be especially true for organizations without dedicated security or compliance teams.
4. Cost: Its paid tiers can be expensive, especially for larger organizations. This can be a barrier for some organizations looking to implement Wiz's features.
5. Limited visibility into cloud resources: Wiz relies on the cloud provider's APIs to gather data about cloud resources. However, these APIs may not provide complete visibility into all cloud resources, particularly those that are not natively supported by the cloud provider. This can limit Wiz's ability to detect and monitor certain types of resources.
6. Dependence on accurate data: Wiz relies on accurate and up-to-date data to make informed recommendations and provide effective security and compliance management. However, if the data is incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, Wiz's recommendations may not be reliable.
7. Limited support for non-cloud environments: While Wiz is primarily designed for cloud environments, its capabilities may be limited when applied to on-premises environments or other types of infrastructure.
8. Potential for false positives: Like any security tool, Wiz may generate false positives, which can lead to unnecessary work and fatigue for security teams. This can also undermine the credibility of the tool in the eyes of security decision-makers.

What do you like best about the product?
Versatility is the word for me. I compare them with Crowdstrike in matters of ingenuity and from what I've seen they go beyond imagination at this point in time.
I say with confidence that this is only the beginning and as future is in the cloud they will be the visionaries and founding fathers of their specific attributes.
And the people, their best assets, very well prepared and there was no question unanswered or deviated.
Thank you for erasing one layer of ignorance from my being.

Best in class tool for Cloud Security Posture & Vulnerability Management
What do you like best about the product?
I have used alot of tools be it for Cloud Posture Management or Vulnerability Management and I have been using Wiz for last 6 months and I must say that it is one of the best tool of this sector.
The Wiz UI is excellent and it is very easy to understand the various sections in Wiz & navigate between various sections in Wiz.
The Threat Intel and the CVES that Wiz has is exceptional and apart from the traditional CVSS score they do have custom CVSS score which is determined by the Wiz.
The support staff that Wiz has got is very quick in resolving the concerns you raise and most often you would end you having a reasonable response or resolution to all your queries in a matter of time.

What do you dislike about the product?
To be very Frank there is nothing much to dislike about Wiz.
But I feel one aspect where we can have a improvement is in the reporting section where we need to manually select or type the VM instance name we need to have a capability to upload them via text or xls sheet directly instead of typing them one by one.

We are using Wiz for multiple use cases :
1) Cloud Posture Management & Container Security - To review the current status of all the Containers and understand the Compliance of the Cloud resources.
2) Vulnerability Scanning - To run Vulnerability Scans on all VM Instances and to fetch the Vulnerability reports on demand for all the instances. Also we can run scans per CVE as well so if there are any new Zero Days we can directly run the scans for all our resources specific to the Zero Day CVE.

What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz is delivering excellently on their commitments; however, I would love to see some addition of automation for patching and fixes, as it would be a welcome enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The standout feature within Wiz is undeniably the Security Graph. This tool offers an intricate visualization of the various elements implicated in any cloud-related risk, complete with the interconnections between them. By swiftly identifying hazardous combinations and critical risks throughout Phantom's cloud environment, Wiz contributes to cost control, resource optimization, and the prioritization of remedial actions. Phantom gauges the automation-driven savings facilitated by Wiz to be on par with the expenses of three full-time team members.
Wiz is a great state of the art tool for your cloud security needs
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz has provided us with a new point of view over our environment. The entirity of the infrastructure is neatly mapped out in an easy to understand diagram. Any vulnerabilities found are shown where the reside inside the environment, and how they could affect the remaining infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz has shown very positive results, and we are excited to keep learning what else it can do. We love how even after becoming partners, we see consistant support and care from their internal/support teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the issues Wiz is helping solve are related to our security posture. We use the platform to analyze and prioritize issues as they arrise. As a bonus, any new vulnerability (such as Log4j) has a dedicated section, where the system automatically scans your environment so you know right away if you are vulnerable.

What a Wiz
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz's security graph and sensors have been massive values adds. The process of using both is much easier than any other "graph" or sensor I've had to work with. The product is incredibly cohesive and easy to find all the aspects I need
What do you dislike about the product?
AI search. So far it has not worked well for me. I've gotten "I don't know" or a forever spinning wheel on every query.
I think it would be nice to see it work well. But the command k search is already really good so I'm not pressed to see this one be phenomenal. I'd rather have the ability to do graph query's with AI

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerability management in our cloud environments. And now runtime security as well. Docker registry scanning
I believe so, I think wiz has some "clarification" it can work on, like with a good service now integration, but it's a very helpful tool
