I'm using Wiz for more than 1 year already for a financial organization
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is a solution that was created in an intuitive way, it is focused on the real needs of security employees that want to protect the cloud env. and one of the biggest upsides is the roadmap and ongoing strive for improvement to provide value to its customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently I'm missing more value from the data & access domains as those areas are highly correlated.
In addition, insights regarding network traffic that flows in the cloud env. probably can have great value.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz solve different issues such as inventory overview, vulnerabilities reflection for the cloud resources in an effective manner while providing info for remediation.

Wiz is an intuitive yet powerful tool for Cloud Security practitioners
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz provides cutting-edge tech to easily monitor your cloud environments without requiring agent deployment! The search feature is compelling for looking up anything from CVEs to cloud inventory. The dashboards and issues provide visibility into areas to investigate and remediate. Wiz UI feels very responsive, and the overall user experience is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a major complaint but the reporting and filtering options around CI/CD-based scans in the UI seem less polished than all of the other features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz enables us to prioritize security issues and cloud configuration based on business impact and factors such as internet exposure and exploitability. It also allows us to identify high-risk infrastructure and vulnerabilities with ease.
The platform is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for me to start using it effectively.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to visualize data. It is the most user-friendly product that I've worked with a readable UI that is easy to navigate. The fact that assets update in real-time as changes occur is fantastic for checking if progress has been made. There is no need to set up any scans or put agents on your cloud assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are stuck with limited options when generating reports. It would be a nice feature to create custom report templates so we can properly show off all the work we've been doing with this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz shows us what we currently lack in our cloud environment, from misconfigured public-facing assets to vulnerabilities in outdated software. I can work with Project leaders to clean up our environments and present current problems to our Cloud Center of Excellence team. Wiz allows us to show our progress and the number of outstanding issues we have.
Decent tool with areas to grow
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to setup in AWS, Azure, and GCP and provides a good vulnerability scanning capability across both endpoints and the IaaS control plane.
What do you dislike about the product?
- No capability for non-cloud resources
- Wiz does not maintain historic scan results after they are fixed which often makes reporting and providing evidence for compliance difficult
- Their API is just a GraphQL endpoint which makes using it excessively complex to use

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz fulfills most requirements for our vulnerability management program across most of our environments.
Wiz simply keeps impressing with their innovative approach to Cloud Security Posture Management
What do you like best about the product?
The User Interface allows our various teams to ascertain the security posture of their projects. The process is expedited by the end user's ability to customize. Over the last 12 months, I've witnessed how Product Teams are inspired to think about how they can continue to leverage Wiz to gain better insights and faster remediation, driving adoption and increasing the value to the user and the company.
The fact that Wiz is agentless is significant as it removes the maintenance and administrative overhead associated with such deployments.
The support we receive from Wiz's team feels more like a partnership than a client/vendor relationship. They are committed to our success in strengthening our security posture and empowering us to maximize utility. Their expertise and professionalism are only surpassed by the constant innovations, releasing features at an astonishing rate.

There is little to dislike about Wiz, the product or the company. The learning curve can be steep, but the context-based documentation and success team greatly help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz helps our cyber teams better understand vulnerabilities and expedite remediation. It allows cyber teams to use a single pane of glass to gain insights into our environment and strengthen our security posture.

Wiz has changed the definition of a fine cloud security tool. I have not seen any cloud security tools capable of doing what wiz does with maximum accuracy.
Wiz is straightforward to deploy and presents the findings in a way which makes it really easier for us to focus on severe and critical issues first.
I really like using wiz threat centre. It's the only place that tells me about the latest vulnerabilities discovered and the vulnerable assets.
The level of vulnerability details captured in identified issues (network exposure path, list of CVEs) makes it super easier for our team to analyze the severity of the issue. The integrations which wiz offers are straightforward and powerful.
Not to mention that they have an excellent and helpful support team, ready to help all the time.

There's very little to dislike :)
It took us some time to figure out how to use the developer APIs, but the wiz support team enabled us super fast, and we realised the dev APIs are super fast and powerful. Again, very little to dislike; they have a fantastic team and tool.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a multi-cloud environment, managing the security and assets becomes really hard. With wiz, not only can we solve cloud security issues, but their security graph explorer helps a lot of our teams manage their assets. Often we use wiz to identify where precisely the asset is deployed (cloud, project, region) and the vulnerabilities that the asset has.

What do you like best about the product?
WIZ provides extensive coverage of the cloud environment, with engineering-minded dashboards, with issues providing contextual information, with additional capabilities like cloud inventory, attack paths, security frameworks assessment. It is also easy to enable and get results.
What do you dislike about the product?
WIZ does not provide leadership-level dashboards that could transfer detected threats into business impact (through risk, money...). Querying a large amount of data may timeout, thus you may have to rely on reports and API.

WIZ provides extensive coverage of cloud infrastructure security - CNAPP. And as is, it allows building an infrastructure security vulnerability program without a need for additional tools
A game changer product to enhance cloud visibility pain-points
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz has helped our team to look into the immersive cominations of different material risks which are there within our cloud space . The scans are fully automated through the wiz outpost which lies within our environment and provides great visibility into the critical and High factor vulnerabilities on our network . Apart from the scans and alerts , the tool has been leveraged by our team to initiate discussions with Cyber Domain leads on proper goverenance and pin-points of different areas such as IAM, PIM , end point security which are understood while reviewing the network discovery reports for different combinations of control rules we can use to derive our search outputs. Wiz comes out with a lot of new security control updates, baselines and features every month which also helps us to identify areas which we need to work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz Tech support is still an on-going work and it is difficult to check the progress of a new request through their chat system. Also, one of the problems I faced is that Wiz is yet to develop a service process to include customized development effort for Wiz recommended security controls for a particular cloud service that a client wants to see in their environment based on their infrastructure requirement. For now , the control creation decision depends on Wiz threat center decision and review which push a global set of Wiz controls for all their clients as an update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since our organization has been factoring a lot of workloads on Cloud , the product helps us understand the different use cases that we need to pay attention to as a result of the CSPM posture we see on the tool.Wiz presents a holistic view of our infrastructure weakness. With all the relevant security recommendations, Wiz helps both our cyber security and Infra team to target their focus on the most critical issues.

Wiz is easy to navigate. It allows you to quickly see what issue is high, medium or low.

there are a ton of alerts that an be generated that make it feel almost overwhelming
