Holistic cloud governance
What do you like best about the product?
Other than excellent visibility into all cloud assets and services, the threat center helps monitor for zero days in near real-time as possible and without relying on additional toolsets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor thing, Issues view cannot be sorted :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz helped us reduce the time to respond to issues as well as quickly reassess remediation activities

Responsive and Helpful
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz's team is one of the best to work with. If you have a question, you can be guaranteed a response in a matter of hours, and it is never a generic one. If you are stuck on something specific, they provide excellent 1:1 support - Susan and Ryan (also Daniel and Louise), in particular, give so much time (literally hours) to our team until we resolve our issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface can be a bit buggy; for example, searching for accounts can sometimes yield no results or time out. However, these are growing pains, and I know the Wiz team are always actively working on improving the UI for end users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is great for consolidating all our cloud resources under one umbrella, which is essential for a large organization with multiple platforms. It's easy to go in to Wiz and manage our workflows and vulnerability programs from there.
My experience with WIZ as a security engineer
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent mapping ability in a cloud environment. Find any information about cloud entities in my organization. Simple integration with SIEM system (splunk).
What do you dislike about the product?
The way to run and create a search query is not intuitive. The query language is complicated and requires learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is solving objects mapping and inventorisation problems. Easy to run a scan to find vulnerabilities and take care of them in time. An excellent tool to monitor cloud security posture.

Building custom playbooks for automated remediations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides for my role. It has all the features that I would need at a glance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping me up to date with the latest vulnerability information to better aid and maintain my organizations security posture.
Wiz made improving our cloud security easy
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz has a great interface that allows us to easily identify risks in our AWS environment. We were able to quickly achieve a reduction in the risks in our environment after starting with Wiz. The search engine and the way resources are displayed in the console makes it easy to see what resources are causing issues and why.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside was that it was more expensive than the competitors, but they make up for it with great functionality. The ability to respond to resources being created near real-time is still pretty limited, but it seems as though they are in the process of improving that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is solving our problem of having an easy single pane of glass to see our cloud security posture across all of our AWS accounts. It has also improved our security by allowing us to easily remediate some common misconfigurations in an automated manner.

Wiz allows us to create guardrails for our cloud environments that can automate remediation and detection.

It is 100% agentless and provides a visual map with excellent environmental insight. Not only it lists the issues but also steps to resolution.

What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz only specific numbers of syncs per day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides visibility into the cloud infrastructure with detected vulnerabilities, and remediation guidance benefits the infrastructure team greatly.
Wiz worked when others didn't

There was an issue Wiz detected that another tool we were POC'ing did not.

Only thing I can think of is it's more expensive than competitors

Providing additional visibility into our Cloud Security/providing visibility where there would otherwise be none.
Miles ahead of the competition!
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is getting a lot of press for the company's rapid growth. Often in the security industry, I find that such rapid growth is due to inflated marketing and sales teams rather than the fundamental quality of the product. Not so with Wiz. I firmly believe that Wiz is worth the hype. The product has given us significantly improved visibility into our cloud security posture - and after only a few conversations/demos, it was clear that Wiz was at least two years ahead of other products in the market (including the native cloud vendor tools!)
What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz takes up a significant chunk of my security budget, which means it gets a lot of attention from our accounting teams. That said, it does replace suites of tools that we would have paid for otherwise - so be sure to consider the overall TCO when deciding to use it.
Wiz is expanding its oversight controls into on-premises virtual machine environments, but currently, its usefulness to us is limited to our cloud environments.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developer-centric security tooling: we leverage Wiz to generate Jira tickets for our DevOps teams to action. These integrations are valuable and help to ensure issues are addressed and not forgotten in our decentralized working mode.
