Easy integrations, great documentation, and amazing support.
What do you like best about the product?
From the moment we began integration with Wiz, we knew we were working with something different.
Their contextual documentation is spot on, up to date, and helpful. And in the event you need real help.... Their support staff is knowledgeable and expedient. They really care about your ability to maximize the benefits of their platform and it shows.

What do you dislike about the product?
Really can't think of anything to dislike about Wiz. If the platform is missing something you think it should have, their support welcomes feature requests or suggestions for enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz has given us an incredible view into our extensive cloud environments that we never had before. The ability to leverage their API's into our development and deployment model has increased the security and stability of each deployment or rollout of new platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Wiz is an exceptional tool in the security industry, making it an extremely likable product for engineers like me. From the documentation through the technical implementation to the management representation, they have you covered with all sorts of things you might need.
Providing easy-to-follow API examples for custom integrations and many out-of-the-box connections with commonly used enterprise tools.
They are extremely quick with their release cycles, including all the updates, support request fixes and policy amendments/additions that greatly help building a secure infrastructure.
They do not just provide a tool that helps security teams better understand their security posture, but they are constantly building their product to help you pinpoint the toxic combinations that make your environment insecure.

It is hard to mention things that are not likable at Wiz because they are open to user feedback that is usually addressed quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz gives a holistic view of the infrastructure we have, with all the relevant security recommendations grouped by severity, that helps both the security and business teams target their focus on the most critical issues.
They constantly evolve with new policies and toxic combinations to ensure their customer is covered on the critical points.

Always Innovating
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz provides a clear insight into your cloud architecture's health with concise issue guidance and remediation recommendations. With the continued innovation by the Wiz engineers, to include the recent implementation of Cloud Detection and Response, as well as Data Security Posture Management, Wiz is becoming a leading source for all aspect of Cloud Management and Security Operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
DSPM in Wiz is growing and releasing new capabilities, I see there is still some more room to grow in this area and will see Wiz being a leader in this category. I also see Wiz growing in the ASPM solution and will have great insights as that grow their integrations in the SCA/IAC area with inline development scanners and code respositories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz Cloud Detection and Response provides Cloud Trail and Guard Duty alerting and timeline creation that is critical for engineering and operations. Wiz CSPM delivers the relevant information to enable automated remediation of critical cloud configuration issues
Simplified Security and Risk Management
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz simplifies the process of understanding risk across the complex dependencies of the modern environment. The agentless automation allows us to be able to assess our posture and take action in a quick fashion, and also gives us assurance as being the double check for low level items such as misconfigurations, missed patches, etc in an efficient way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting and other "display" functions could be expanded to be more user friendly in terms of navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speeding up assessment, reaction to incidents. Improving Security Posture, maintaining risk levels.
Nobody Beats the Wiz
What do you like best about the product?
We have compared and tested numerous tools, but Wiz stood out. They are constantly adding new features and adding/improving their rules every week. We noticed competitors just buying out other companies and creating separate sections in their platforms, which required jumping from one window to another or a new tab.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their current method of opening support tickets needs to be improved. When out-of-the-box rules are modified, it will close issues and re-open the same security issue, which may create a discrepancy in the metrics we track. They also need to improve their CI/CD feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us track misconfigurations and risks on our public and private resources, which include vulnerable software, data exposure and host configuration issues.
Cloud Security Posture Management on Steroids!
What do you like best about the product?
Risk-based prioritization and toxic combination identification is a game-changer. The endless customizations (using OPA and Rego) and security graph are intuitive and very effective. You also have to check out the API console which provides integration possibilities with virtually anything. Wiz enables us to focus on the most important things and provides us unparalleled visibility of our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a capability currently to build dashboards and/or panels to provide even better governance and reporting. Integration with Microsoft's Information Protection (MIP) would also be a welcomed feature.

Up to date inventory and unparalleled visibility.

Wiz helps us detect all of our cloud and IaC misconfigurations and container vulnerabilities and also helps us with compliance regulations

Wiz makes you a cloud security expert
What do you like best about the product?
Our cloud footprint grows daily as we empower our IT and business colleagues to deploy what they need. To enable this, we needed a way to monitor their deployments to ensure they were secure. Instead of increasing headcount and trying to find cloud security experts, we went with Wiz and utilized interns to operationalize it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know Wiz is moving in this direction, but I would like to be able to detect sensitive information across our cloud platforms and monitor our on-prem VMWare environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is validating our cloud deployments are secure and making our security professionals more efficient and effective. Before we had Wiz it was a manual process to review each deployment.
Great CSPM solution
What do you like best about the product?
Many beneficial dashboards help you manage and reveal issues you never thought about.
When a new vulnerability/ZeroDay is revealed, they work hard to create a new dashboard dedicated to it.
The overall direction of the company is very positive.
Wiz has "wizcli" that can be involved in the ci/cd pipeline and act like dependencies scanning.

What do you dislike about the product?
Automatically rescan can take some time unless you initiate the rescan.
If you want to search for something specific, you need to know/learn their search language. (when you know it, it is very powerful )

Wiz gives us visibility for misconfiguration and vulnerabilities in our cloud environment; it helps us to manage and create action plans for the relevant stakeholders.
Wiz is a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz was very easy to deploy. It was very easy to set up, cloud agnostic and covers all things cloud security from vulnerability mgmt, container security to cloud misconfigurations. It allows you to simplify your tech stack and provides great runtime capabilities in a single pain of glass. I have also been impressed by how aggressive their roadmap is and the speed of which new features are implemented based on customer feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall one of the best cloud security products i have used. I would like to see them enhance self serve reporting and user experience for non-technical personnel.

Cloud security posture management: It provides full visibility across our cloud environments of misconfigurations, Iam and network issues and vulerabilities
Runtime Container Security: In light of recent 0-days (Log4j, Spring4Shell etc) Wiz makes it easy to identify exactly where you are running vulnerable version and helps prioritize based on risk (i.e external facing)
