I am surprised at how much OCR accuracy has improved in the last month (with Google Gemini)
What do you like best about the product?
I replaced this with Gemini 3.1 Flash. No training required and real 100% accuracy. The cost savings with Google Gemini are HUGE.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's relaibility and availability. It's price. It's ease of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business has mobile work crews filling in handwritten inspection reports. Each of those forms has a unique pre-printed number. At the end of each work day these reports are scanned in a single batch and then automatically split into single page documents. The file is renamed based on the Nanonets extracted number...

Enquire about options if the Pro Plan volumes are too high for your business application.

Good OCR solution for documents like Resume

It automatically extracts information from Resumes without any manual correction

It'll be useful to have different Resume categories

Our recruiters would spend a lot of time to collect and organize info from Resumes and we're able to automate that with Nanonets
Great hands-on interface for document information retrieval.
What do you like best about the product?
The first thing which caught my eye was the great user interface. It helps you do the task without knowing a great deal about the Machine Learning behind it. I really liked the option where you can custom build your model from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the fact that you require at least 10 examples for label a little displeasing. Latency/ Inference time could improved as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Nanonets as a baseline to extract important information from invoices/receipts. I performed a comparative analysis against the model I built as a part of my fellowship at Insight Data Science. Nanonets clearly gave top notch results relatively to any other models I used.

What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to use. The UI was well done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't automate testing with tagged data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were comparing Nanonets to other methods that we developed to extract text from electrical nameplates. We couldn't do a rigorous comparison because of the lack of ability to automate the testing, but a comparison on a small number of images appeared not to work as well as other methods. It is definitely a challenging domain.
