Great data extraction tool
What do you like best about the product?
Our team sought out a way to speedily extract data from documents, and Nanonets emerged as a sure prospect. Having demonstrated the effectiveness of the software with trial data, we connected with a Nanonets associate named Shikhar, who graciously made special accommodations for our team. What do you like best about the product?
Flexible and adaptive tool that can extract various types of data from random documents.
Zero-shot models are really impressive, and the ability to convert extracted data to a requested format helps a lot.

What do you dislike about the product?
Minor UI issues and bugs here or there. However, they that do not disrupt day-to-day activities and the platform is developing really quickly - most of the inconviniences have been eliminated over the past year
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nanonets reduces the amount of manual work significantly. Searching for information and then typing it in to the system usually takes a lof time but now the process is quick and easy.

Model flexibility: The Nanonets OCR model is very flexible and able to suite the needs of our business.

What do you dislike about the product?
For more complex use-cases, it takes some time to get setup and operational, however, Nanonets approaches it in an iterative manner to allow you get value immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a number of monthly invoices across various suppliers that use differing formats and levels of data. Nanonet's product allows us to extract the key data we need to identify trends and act on the insights.

Nanonets has made the process of inventory management much more efficient by speeding up the human involvement (eye detection).
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing was abit over my budget but I had to endure it because I needed the ai to help me with my work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ai ocr is helping me detect about 95% of inventory tags and create an excel sheet which I use to overlap with my received scanned data to find defective tags.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI for manually tweaking labels on some receipts could be a little more user friendly - but it works fine!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to understand the data from our users receipts, and there's a lot of different receipts format, so that's a hard problem to automate.
If we were to roll our own solution, we'd have to strugle with a lot of different parts - but Nanonets provides it as a complete package - ready to use

What do you like best about the product?
Very efficient in terms of inputting data in purchasing system using AI

Teaching the system is not very straightforward
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nanonets is helping us in terms of scanning our invoices and inputting them in the Nanonets system and then our accounting system is extracting and matching the invoices to our ordering system

What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Nanonets we were able to digitally process complex invoices and confirmations orders. The AI’s self learning capabilities were the most remarkable feature for us - with the model improving consistently as more data was provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform was great for the most part but I’d love if it could be a bit more fluid in terms of the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nanonets has been very cost and time efficient for us - it has helped automate a large part of our manual processing allowing us to devote more time on tasks that truly matter.
Using Nanonets to digitize old data sources
What do you like best about the product?
ease of use, speed of execution, quality of prediction. I had an old data source from a statistical yearbook, given to me as fotographs of pdf files. i needed nanonts to read those old tables, and I needed it to understand that sometimes rows of data would not even be along straight lines - for example the yearbook had tables spanning over 2 pages, if the second page was slightly twisted during the process of taking the photograph, the second page would not line up exactly. very difficul for a standard OCR. nanonets had no problem with this setup, and I had to do no extra training or tuning for this to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess custom models would need to be trained by the user, not sure that is a areal downside though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OCR techniques using deep learning - read data from image files to help machine processing of the data further down the line. basically data is stored on a piece of paper, nanonets will help to get the data into a machine readable format.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Nanonets is the ease of use at the beginning. It is quite impressive how fast I got to my first great extractions and usable extractions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The model training at first can be a bit tedious and hard to visualize properly, especially for large and complex files, such as financial statements from suppliers from multiple countries. But once everything is set up, it is well worth the training time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my use, Nanonets is saving me a few hours each week by extracting all the necessary information from financial statements into usable excel sheets. Before, there were no alternatives that worked well enough to justify the change in workflow. Now, the manual labor of extracting huge amounts of data from these PDF is reduced to a few minutes.
Incredible OCR
What do you like best about the product?
Nanonets is a hit at my office. Now we can scan a report and get the required information from it in seconds. The precision increases with each scanned document. The software is efficient, accurate, and quick. It also has a friendly UI which made it easier to integrate on a larger scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nanonets perfectly suited our needs and delivered a better than expected result. No complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We regularly scan geographical reports for information. The essential work, however, is to do with the information extracted from these reports. We were looking for a software which could automate the process of data extraction. Nanonets’s OCR is amazing. Its precision is admirable and is very easy to use.
