What do you like best about the product?
I like how Pecan is easy to set up, and the support from their team is great. I also appreciate that it's not a black box, allowing me to audit and test results. The setup process was fairly easy, as I could connect data sources and begin to validate quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took us awhile to get to a usable model, though some of that was from delays on our side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pecan for predictive analytics to forecast which campaigns convert into pipeline, reducing time from budget to outcomes. It tackles long sales cycles by providing timely campaign performance insights allowing us to iterate and optimize.

Intuitive Platform with Exceptional Support

What do you like best about the product?
The biggest strength for me is how accessible the platform makes predictive modeling — you don't need a dedicated data science team to get real value out of it. Building and training models is genuinely straightforward, and the prediction quality has held up well in production.
The onboarding experience stood out too. We had our first model live and being used by our sales reps in under a month, which is faster than I expected. The support team deserves a specific callout: they run regular check-ins, respond quickly to questions, and walked us through setup step by step. It feels more like having a partner than a vendor.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback is price. If you have the in-house expertise to build and deploy custom models on Google Cloud or a similar provider, you can do it more cheaply. You're paying a premium for the abstraction and support — worth it for us, but worth weighing against your team's capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pecan helps us identify high-value customers so our sales team can prioritize personalized outreach instead of spraying effort broadly. The benefit is twofold: our reps spend their time on accounts more likely to convert, and we're able to run this kind of ML-driven targeting without hiring a data science function to support it. Faster time-to-value and a leaner setup are the concrete wins.

What do you like best about the product?
Onboarding predictive models for our sales team was a remarkably smooth experience with Pecan. From the very first kickoff call, the Pecan team was hands-on and genuinely invested in making sure we got value quickly. The platform's UI is clean and intuitive — even team members without a technical background were able to follow along and understand the model outputs without much hand-holding. What really stood out was the level of support we received throughout the process; the team is always responsive, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. It's clear they care about their customers' success, not just deploying a tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't much to criticize. If I had to mention something, it would be nice to have a few more options for customizing dashboards and reports on the platform, but this is a minor point and hasn't impacted our overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to build predictive models that could help our sales team prioritize leads. Pecan made it possible to get these models into production quickly without requiring a dedicated data science team, which has saved us both time and resources while giving our sales org actionable insights they actually trust.

What do you like best about the product?
Above all else, Pecan has been deeply committed to our success with the product. They have been consistently available to assist and consult with us on how to improve our use of the product across both current and future projects.
The customer service has been excellent.

Additionally, the model-building process speeds up our ability to produce predictive models for key business initiatives. In situations where our Team doesn’t have the bandwidth to spend weeks building a predictive model, the Pecan product allows us to create models much more quickly when time is limited.
What do you dislike about the product?
We’re improving how we use Pecan with each new model run, but it can still be difficult at times to quantify all the variables within the models in a way that makes business sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Pecan for projects that have both short-term and long-term impacts on the organization. Because our data warehouse is already in a strong position, we can implement Pecan quickly and start building predictive models on targeted datasets to support valuable business initiatives.

What do you like best about the product?
The Pecan team has been fully supportive of our entire team as we’ve learned how to best leverage their platform. We mainly use it to build predictive models that help us determine which individuals we should promote our products to.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the start, there was a learning curve on both sides when it came to understanding our data structure and making sure the Pecan team understood how our industry works. Beyond that initial ramp-up, the only real challenge I’ve run into has been navigating the time zone difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main use for Pecan is to determine which people in our database we should cross-promote our brands to. This process helps us reach out to fewer people while still bringing in the same revenue, or even more.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Pecan helps us run predictive models quickly without needing a dedicated data science team. It's easy to use with a simple interface. The account support team are excellent partners both technically and strategically. The initial setup was very easy because our data was organized and the team walked us through it step by step.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see an additional interface option to better see all of my dataset options outside of the chat prompt, but this is just a nice-to-have. Providing multiple ways to ensure all relevant data is selected, both by chat prompt and a visual layout would make it easier to ensure that all relevant data points for a model are properly included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple Pecan is to use, set up, and understand results. It's also really flexible whenever I want to predict new features or change some of the settings. Pecan basically replaces the need of having a data science department, which is a huge plus. The initial setup was easy, especially with their native connection with BigQuery.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit hard to use when the main features for the training datasets are sensitive data because of sharing data and compliance, but it is not a blocker. Something more on my side than Pecan's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pecan helps me understand the long-term value of new users with ease. It's simple to use and set up, replacing the need for a data science department. It's also flexible for predicting new features and adjusting settings.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Pecan helps us in modeling our data to prevent fraud accurately. The team and our weekly calls are super helpful, making sure we are on the right direction. The portal and AI assistant also assist us with our SQL queries and more, reducing the time required to prepare data and integrate our product with theirs. It generally makes our work streamlined, with almost zero mistakes, saving valuable time spent on fixing errors. The integration with our CRM was simple, as they handled all the work related to it. The initial setup was also very easy, with just a meeting to manage expectations, and then we started immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the next step for the model will be to make it decision making in real-time for transactions, rather than post transaction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pecan for modeling our data to prevent fraud accurately. It helps identify risk parameters on transactions, allowing us to take preventive measures. The portal and AI assistant streamline data preparation and integration, reduce mistakes, and save time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Pecan because it helps our analytics teams move faster by abstracting away the effort and domain expertise needed to build and deploy machine learning models. The easy-to-navigate UI and dedicated customer support are big pluses. Also, the Databricks integration process was easy to set up, making our workflow smoother. It definitely helps us create machine learning models more quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be improvements with increased visibility into model logic and more options for custom model tuning. It would be helpful if customers had more visibility into the model.
