What do you like best about the product?

The UI is friendly for analysts and is great for providing a simple step-by-step framework of building, training, and shipping a model to production. The support team has also been extremely receptive of feedback/questions that are raised, and are quick to investigate and even implement changes on the platform according to our feedback/requests. I also appreciate the tool's recommendation features where it will automatically provide troubleshooting for any issues that it can see. I also really like the "compare" tool and customized fields for multiple comparisons.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish there was a way to group flows together, and an archive vs delete option.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Once stood up, it provides a way for analysts to explore, iterate, and build ML models that may help to reduce costs & ROI for our customers.

What do you like best about the product?

It made EDA very simple and also made it easier to learn about our business. I loved working with the team—they were extremely knowledgeable and also very strict about making sure the models were solid and that there was no leakage. We’d been trying to get a churn model up and running, but with a small team we could never get through all of the modeling, and the results were never very good. Now our new model is doing amazing at predicting based on our data! id say its definitely worth the price

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to identify people who were likely to churn and then find a way to save them, since our renewal rates were dropping. Pecan helped us deploy a super successful model that identifies churn risk with high accuracy.

What do you like best about the product?

Forecasting is hard! But the Pecan platform makes it a lot easier. It is very easy to setup a forecasting environment, something that can take great time and effort when done independently. It really is as easy as uploading a data file, chatting briefly with an ai agent, build a model. The best part, however, comes from the support you receive from the Pecan team. They walk side by side with you when building the model and give excellent advice and feedback on your project. They are very knowledgeable and very easy to work with.

What do you dislike about the product?

There are some limitations with the platform. The biggest thing for me was project memory. I had to keep a running log of things to try and build or ideas to test. That does not live natively in the tool. The Pecan team is there is help with project planning, but it would be great if this planning aspect could be available inside the tool itself.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Right now we are using Pecan to build a demand forecast for our ecom business. As any manufacturer knows, demand planning is vital, and ecom demand planning can add layers of added difficulty. Instead of having a team member produce a demand plan, we are using Pecan! This enables time that would be spent inspecting endless versions of forecasts to be allocated to other priorities.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how intuitive and easy Pecan is to work with. The model building process with the agent is simple and efficient, and the model results are presented clearly. This makes it easy to understand the model's accuracy, performance, and influential attributes. The Pecan team is also very supportive, being responsive, professional, and providing helpful guidance when needed. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pecan helps me create a predictive model to assess the future value of casino players, aiding campaign evaluations. It simplifies model building and provides clear insights into model performance and key attributes.

What do you like best about the product?

The speed of getting to a working model. We connected our Snowflake data, defined the predictive question, and had something meaningful to show stakeholders within weeks without needing a dedicated data science team. The iterative weekly sessions also help a lot: the Pecan team actively help with the whole process and challenges your assumptions.

What do you dislike about the product?

Not fully self service yet, getting the predictive question right takes a few iterations, and setting up the data structure pipeline requires some hand holding from their team (but they are super helpful and responsive). Fine once it's running, but the setup phase is slower than expected.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pecan helps us identify which accounts need attention before they disengage, so we can act early and keep them.

What do you like best about the product?

the AI chatbox integrated with the model/feature development UI very well. Very easy for users to explore different features and iterate

the sql syntax sometimes is a bit different with snowflake which need some extra adjustment when copy a sql query

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

it makes DS model so much easier. I, as a DA, can put my business logics/experiences into a model and check the model score performance very easy. The model performance UI also provided enough context for me to know if the model is good

I like how Pecan is easy to set up, and the support from their team is great. I also appreciate that it's not a black box, allowing me to audit and test results. The setup process was fairly easy, as I could connect data sources and begin to validate quickly.

It took us awhile to get to a usable model, though some of that was from delays on our side.

I use Pecan for predictive analytics to forecast which campaigns convert into pipeline, reducing time from budget to outcomes. It tackles long sales cycles by providing timely campaign performance insights allowing us to iterate and optimize.

What do you like best about the product?

The biggest strength for me is how accessible the platform makes predictive modeling — you don't need a dedicated data science team to get real value out of it. Building and training models is genuinely straightforward, and the prediction quality has held up well in production.
The onboarding experience stood out too. We had our first model live and being used by our sales reps in under a month, which is faster than I expected. The support team deserves a specific callout: they run regular check-ins, respond quickly to questions, and walked us through setup step by step. It feels more like having a partner than a vendor.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main drawback is price. If you have the in-house expertise to build and deploy custom models on Google Cloud or a similar provider, you can do it more cheaply. You're paying a premium for the abstraction and support — worth it for us, but worth weighing against your team's capabilities.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pecan helps us identify high-value customers so our sales team can prioritize personalized outreach instead of spraying effort broadly. The benefit is twofold: our reps spend their time on accounts more likely to convert, and we're able to run this kind of ML-driven targeting without hiring a data science function to support it. Faster time-to-value and a leaner setup are the concrete wins.

Onboarding predictive models for our sales team was a remarkably smooth experience with Pecan. From the very first kickoff call, the Pecan team was hands-on and genuinely invested in making sure we got value quickly. The platform's UI is clean and intuitive — even team members without a technical background were able to follow along and understand the model outputs without much hand-holding. What really stood out was the level of support we received throughout the process; the team is always responsive, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. It's clear they care about their customers' success, not just deploying a tool.

What do you dislike about the product?

Honestly, there isn't much to criticize. If I had to mention something, it would be nice to have a few more options for customizing dashboards and reports on the platform, but this is a minor point and hasn't impacted our overall experience.

We needed a way to build predictive models that could help our sales team prioritize leads. Pecan made it possible to get these models into production quickly without requiring a dedicated data science team, which has saved us both time and resources while giving our sales org actionable insights they actually trust.

Above all else, Pecan has been deeply committed to our success with the product. They have been consistently available to assist and consult with us on how to improve our use of the product across both current and future projects.
The customer service has been excellent.

Additionally, the model-building process speeds up our ability to produce predictive models for key business initiatives. In situations where our Team doesn’t have the bandwidth to spend weeks building a predictive model, the Pecan product allows us to create models much more quickly when time is limited.

What do you dislike about the product?

We’re improving how we use Pecan with each new model run, but it can still be difficult at times to quantify all the variables within the models in a way that makes business sense.

We use Pecan for projects that have both short-term and long-term impacts on the organization. Because our data warehouse is already in a strong position, we can implement Pecan quickly and start building predictive models on targeted datasets to support valuable business initiatives.
