What do you like best about the product?
Improving and Making the DevOps process Easy and best practices in the IT infrastructure. Providing correlation between Developer and Sysadmin easy by adopting the BMC Compuware zadviser
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation require help from Developer side to achieve it.Sysadmin can't implement it by alone

Technical support groups, just like the businesses they serve, can benefit greatly from adopting Agile practices. Keeping your Compuware software current and leveraging zAdviser data can help provide maximum value to our end users and our organization as a whole.
Wonderful tool to Debug
What do you like best about the product?
We can view the current values in memory. For example when i load a file i can see what is the policy number and what value it holds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Less number of lines can be viewed in a single window when we use KEEP command.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have resolved many abends in Mainframe Assembler program using Xpediter. I have also analysed COBOL modules. It helped me to understand how an assembler program works.
provides the debug capabilities similar to other many famous IDEs
What do you like best about the product?
the fact that I can easily debug my cobol code without traditional display and execute method.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could get a fancy IDE with good GUI for even easy experience

debugging a complex and legacy system which otherwise would have be very difficult
Recommendations to others considering the product:
like I said, capabilities to debug legacy application with easy is a great advantage
I have used Xpediter online and batch successfully at several companies including BBVA Compass Bank

It helped me debug programs more quickly, and was easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had multiple platforms that our programs were running on, and had to load Xpediter to each one, which was a little time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Figuring out bad data and where in the program the abend was occurring.

Compare Xpediter with Intertest and see which is more suitable for your company.

Screen navigation is slow sometimes which consuming lot of time

the ease to use line by line debugging makes resolving abends pretty easy.

The only downside I faced was to toggle between the screens while using xpediter.

Good software but dated
What do you like best about the product?
It is the only thing available at my shop so it is better then nothing! Fairly easy setup and execution

I wish it had a windows interface like IBM I rdz. But for whet it does it is good. Also the interface can be clunky at times. But agian, it is the only thing available to me at the moment!
