What do you like best about the product?
I have had the pleasure of working with eSentire for the last 6 months, and I must say that my experience with them has been nothing short of exceptional. As a provider of comprehensive cybersecurity solutions, eSentire has consistently demonstrated its expertise, professionalism, and commitment to protecting my organization's digital assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the response times for specialized requests may take some time. If additional tuning is required on one of the alerts, you must create an extra ticket instead of just replying to the alert ticket.

Good and seemingly effective SOC service with some minor issues with Carbon Black

What do you like best about the product?
The eSentire alerts are helpful, and I appreciate that we get calls for especially important alerts
What do you dislike about the product?
Carbon Black is funky. Most of the time you cannot find a program we just got warned about by SOC, especially when it's vital.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They provide automated detection and alerts for potential attacks and unusual activity we couldn't catch across our tens of thousands of devices.

What do you like best about the product?
The network monitoring available from eSentire is amazing. We can have faith in our security posture due to their ability to detect and actively block security threats.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest thing about eSentire is keeping the licensing costs correct, especially when rolling out new Windows builds. This can lead to confusion in the actual cost of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a security team that monitored and responded to security threats as they happen. ESentire allows a smaller firm like us to have an extremely high level security monitoring team at a reasonable cost.

What do you like best about the product?
The Customer Success Management team is excellent. The TRU Intelligence Briefings offer valuable and insightful information. The external traffic monitoring services ensure peace of mind by keeping us informed about any potential issues. Their weekly newsletter is a great resource, providing updates and important news relevant to our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be beneficial to have a single point of contact with ESOC, as this would enhance their knowledge of our environment and help build a stronger relationship with our team. Sometimes questions are answered with other questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire provides 24/7 coverage to help us mitigate our cyber risks via their SOC and SEIM technology.

What do you like best about the product?
eSentire was there for us when we needed a security partner most. After a significant threat actor event, they quickly onboarded our organization & helped us step through achieving a stronger security posture with several of their professional services. They have been a dependable partner with strong day-to-day support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The professional services they provide are quite expensive & at times a difficult sell to our executive management team. Dashboard access to managing our environment day-to-day is a bit awkward & cumbersome to navigate. It is in every client's best interest to reevaluate each eSentire professional service as the long-term value proposition can diminish as your network changes over time. eSentire services that are meaningful today may not hold up long-term.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire provides a second set of eyes on our network & provides the 24x7x365 coverage that my own staff cannot.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that eSentire combines several defensive and response products under one umbrella, so there is only one security vendor relationship to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customers can access the many product portals provided as part of the service. However, eSentire doesn't provide any overview of the portals or use cases, making it difficult as a customer to take advantage of the data for internal review or reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have the staff to support incident detection and response. By outsourcing this service to eSentire we are able to monitor our systems and respond to threats 365x24.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used eSentire as our security MSP for a few years now. They covers lots of bases for us from detection and response, to security training, to general consulting, and they do it all very well. There are even more services they offer that I am considering picking up.
What do you dislike about the product?
eSentire is not a cheap solution for an organization looking to cut costs. They do the work that they do very well and you will pay for what you get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire monitors several aspects of our environment and helps to protect it. I'm lean organization in terms of personnel for these kinds of tasks so it helps to be able to hand this work on to a fully staffed desk.

What do you like best about the product?
Automated, real time monitoring. Human follow up as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
slow follow up times. sometimes delayed by 6 hours. Arrive late/middle of night.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
real time monitoring and isolation of compromised/threat devices. integrated vulnerability monitoring/reporting to ensure assets are patched.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that their SOC is 24x7x365 with two completely disparate locations. I sleep a lot better knowing that our systems are being monitored, and if there is an alert, it is responded to quickly, and action can be taken very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that comes to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We grow through affiliations and acquisitions; you never know what was on a system or if it was properly monitored, and there was not a single pane of glass to see the alerts and manage them - eSentire MDR has corrected that.
