Excellent Security Partner

What do you like best about the product?
I have used eSentire as our security MSP for a few years now. They covers lots of bases for us from detection and response, to security training, to general consulting, and they do it all very well. There are even more services they offer that I am considering picking up.
What do you dislike about the product?
eSentire is not a cheap solution for an organization looking to cut costs. They do the work that they do very well and you will pay for what you get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire monitors several aspects of our environment and helps to protect it. I'm lean organization in terms of personnel for these kinds of tasks so it helps to be able to hand this work on to a fully staffed desk.

What do you like best about the product?
Automated, real time monitoring. Human follow up as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
slow follow up times. sometimes delayed by 6 hours. Arrive late/middle of night.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
real time monitoring and isolation of compromised/threat devices. integrated vulnerability monitoring/reporting to ensure assets are patched.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that their SOC is 24x7x365 with two completely disparate locations. I sleep a lot better knowing that our systems are being monitored, and if there is an alert, it is responded to quickly, and action can be taken very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that comes to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We grow through affiliations and acquisitions; you never know what was on a system or if it was properly monitored, and there was not a single pane of glass to see the alerts and manage them - eSentire MDR has corrected that.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is user-friendly. In addition, it offers protection against cybercriminals through its alerts and anomalies. Now that I have been an admin of eSentire for a few years, I couldn't be happier with the service. The team is always on time when noticing anomalies, always reaching out and following the escalation procedure, and always providing thorough analysis of the alerts, which makes it easier for us to investigate internally. The platform itself is very easy to integrate, implement, and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, I have not found any services within the platform that require attention. I find it to be an accurate detection and response tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire is helping us manage and detect security anomalies within our environment. eSentire is able to constantly monitor and make us aware of anything that requires our attention, at any given time. I love this service since it monitors alerts for me, as well as provides alerts on anything that requires further investigation. Lastly, eSentire offers training (which are easy to attent remotely), and overall awareness of the cyber threats applicable to our industry.

What do you like best about the product?
They are listening to customers and improving the user experience with the goal of a single portal to get information from a vast array of locations. The monthly reviews are great and keep engineers, management and the SOC on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many portals for the different applications to monitor our environment, but I know they are working to improve. There is information on the insights portal that is not relevant to our company or difficult to understand what it is saying. When a note is provided on the portal about the number of devices affected, please allow those to be clicked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small team with our company and its difficult to stay on top of all new issues or watch all users and eSentire gives up the ability to catch new issues that arise or miss configurations from end users before any breach or lose may happen.

What do you like best about the product?
They are constantly adding new services and information points to expand the knowledge of our environment and how they can make it better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Additional overhead for onboarding. This is not necessarily something that they have complete control of but the requirement to install an appliance that is a "black box" just seems odd to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent / unifed platform for the security to provide common roadmap goals

What do you like best about the product?
eSentire is professional, knowledgeable and extremely responsive. The onboarding was smooth and relatively painless, which was helpful for a non-security related IT person. I like the reporting available, and the speed at which incidents are looked at.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides to speak of, haven't had any negative issues to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is not in a position to hire a dedicated security team, just keeping up with current threats and Microsoft security features is something takes some dedication.

There is nothing that I feel needs improvement ttoday.

They now maintain a LOG retention of 1 year and that is helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the responsiveness of the Support Team, especially our assigned customer support Team. They are always quick to respond and assist.
What do you dislike about the product?
All the different portals that you have to login and the MFA reset process of each. eSentire should build a single point to login with access to the other service portals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing JK if the software version tracking of our devices and endpoint monitoring and alerting.
