What do you like best about the product?
It works well to encrypt sensitive data. It may encrypt private information stored in databases and cloud storage, among other places. Additionally, it assists in controlling the life cycle of encryption keys and eliminates them after the job is finished. Because he lacks the keys, a thief who obtains encrypted data will not be able to cause much harm. For data security management and solution needs, I suggest it.

I've been struggling to comprehend the error messages that it produces, which makes it difficult for me to comprehend the issues and, as a result, to repair them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help us handle private keys in a safe environment and enable us to encrypt data at rest to comply with the need. Their automation also enables us to employ data encryption for additional purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to scan all sorts of data and detailed reporting was impressive and promising. It helps to improve data security and avoid breaches of sensitive laws.
What do you dislike about the product?
Eventhough it provides the analysis in real-time the dashboards are not that appealing they can definitely improve the look and feel of them.

We used it to analyse the db security, user access control and patches analysis.

IBM Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager is helping us to manage and securely store private keys in the infrastructure and also managing the key lifecycle to meet the compliance requirements by automatically rotating the key as per the defined ploicy

IBM Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager is good for data-at-rest storage but unable to leverage automation for data in transit or for another use-case like artifacts encryption

Help us to manage private key in the secure enviroment and allow us to encrypt data at rest to meet the complinace requirement plus their automation help to leverage in other usecase of data encryption

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Guardium helps in identifying security gaps in databases like missing patches, weal passwords, unauthorised changes, and misconfigured privileges and excessive administrative logins etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Old legacy system integration is at best but they should upgrade the tool to be compatible with latest technologies and cloud integration should be in the roadmap further.

IBM Guardium helps in identifying security gaps in databases like missing patches, weal passwords, unauthorised changes, and misconfigured privileges and excessive administrative logins etc. It helps in finding after-hours activity and other behavioural vulnerabilities such as account sharing.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a good tool for encrypting sensitive data. It can encrypt sensitive data in the database and files stored in the cloud, etc. Also, it helps manage the encryption key life cycle and destroys it when the task is done. So, if a thief gets hold of encrypted data can not do much damage as he does not have the keys. I recommend it for data security solutions and data security management.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a good tool and very less known to the outside market. So its market capture is less as compared to other competitors. It has scope to improve in terms of ease of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has benefited the users to manage encryption keys used while login mostly for sensitive and confidential data using the tokenization mechanism. It has definitely increased performance and it is compliant to standards like HIPAA and GDPR.

With the Guardium Key manager we can have all our keys and secrets in one centralized place. We can now audit who accessed the keys, which keys are being reused, and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a company that never had a key management solution, it might take some time to identify all your keys and sensitive information. This is not an issue with the tool per se, but it definitely took some time to fully setup the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using this IBM tool we were managing keys and secrets using spreadsheets, which is a recipe for disaster. We had few cases where keys were stored unencrypted. After adopting the IBM key management solution, we are ensuring that all our keys and sensitive files are stored in a secure form. It also ensures that our compliance needs are met.
