A great partner for fast growing startups!
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of work, speed of execution, and integrity that comes with working with Merge is unmatched. Their partnership has allowed us to move faster and deliver more value to customers compared to other options in the market.

I can't think of anything I dislike. Just keep it coming!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Merge helps us scale our API projects and rapidly deploy new integrations.
Reliable, faster way to pull financial data from different applications under well defined models
What do you like best about the product?
Merge has very good documentation and their customer support team is amazing. They always respond within 1-2 business and goes extra mile to make the customers happy. Building, maintaing integration is hard and expensive. Sometimes it is kind of impossible if the vendor is very restricitive about third-party integrations. When an application needs to support multiple data source like NetSuite, QuickBook and other financial integrations, Merge takes away the challenging parts of integration and enables to focus on unified data model and API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all models are supported for mentioned integrations. Someone has to do some digging to find out actually what models are supported for specific integration. The plan can be expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us pulling different financial applications data which can be difficult to do ourselves.

Love all the integrations and the support is excellent too! The product makes it soo easy for us to use

Nothing too major but since we have clients across the world, they don't have some of the smaller software integrations our customers use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Merge is solving a huge problem by making it easier for companies to add integrations to their platform in a light-touch way. Instead of having to build each integration from scratch, we can rely on Merge to do it!
Merge is amazing for expediting your product roadmap
What do you like best about the product?
Merge clearly cares a lot about their product and customer support. The customer support team is extremely responsive, and they listen to customer feedback intently.
We’ve sent over requests for several new integrations and have seen them pop up on the roadmap and in the product — really appreciate the leverage that we have gotten from Merge!

What do you dislike about the product?
There are several categories that we wish we could integrate with. Merge has mentioned they may go into it in 2024, but the more we can offload on integrations, the better.

Saving engineering time from having to manually build + maintain integrations.
the ideal approach for your SaaS integration strategy
What do you like best about the product?
Merge is an excellent way to quickly and relaibly start, and scale, your SaaS integration strategy. We have a few key integrations that we needed to get stood up quickly, and will have dozens more as we scale over time. Being able to get these out of the box and implented by one engineer was a huge win. Moving from scoping to POC to prod has been seamless.
It's really, really nice to be able to add integrations quickly with just a fraction of an engineer's time as opposed to the alternative which could potential require dedicated headcount.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few features that we'd like that the product doesn't yet have, including some additional features related to some webhooks. But we're told this is coming soon!
The team has been very responsive to feedback and requests we've made. Things we've asked for have been implemented or are on the roadmap for next year.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our product makes use of data from many existing tools that customers have, and over time we'll be integrating with dozens of them. It's extremely difficult to build and support these integrations without full time resources dedicated to them, which is something I've had to live with in past roles. As we scale we'll surely require more engineering time to support integrations, but Merge takes this down significantly, and likely puts off the requirement for an integrations team by years.

What do you like best about the product?
Merge is incredibly easy to use and understand. Their biggest feature by far is their native flexibility and transparency. They allow you to see everything that is happening under the hood making it easy to understand what is happening and to make your own design decisions about what abstractions might be made.
On top of that they have amazing support and are super responsive to all of our issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Merge's more flexible model is that you will run into more issues when you first integrate, but this is a worthwhile price to pay for the flexibilty and transparency they provide you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Merge solves the normalization of multiple financial data apis into a single schema. They dramatically lower the cost of implementation for us.
Smooth Onboarding Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Customer success team is very well equipped with answers to both technical and business questions. The product is rather easy to use with support articles that gives clear instructions. Onboarding was rather straightforward and well supported. The concept of the product makes a lot of sense, i haven't used it intensively to give in depth review of the value proposition and usability yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data can be over normalized some times as a typical downside of normalized API. Looking for more flexibilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration with a large number of HRIS and Ticketing systems without having to worry about storing credentials.

What do you like best about the product?
Merge has been easy to work with from day one. From the start of the partnership until now, Merge has been great in guiding us through our needs. Merge employees are able to break down details in their processes to help bring solutiosn to the forefront. I felt as though I was able to put all of my trust in them to help deliver the best results! Thank you Merge for building such a great product and hiring people who are passionate, enagged and true partners with all who you work with!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a dislike, but I am eager for more features to be rolled out over the course of time. Every update the Merge team rolls out brings greater use to team members like me and I am always hungry for more! Keep them coming and keep them coming quickly! I am so excited for what's next!

Merge defines and leads the industry standard in API unification
What do you like best about the product?
Merge's value proposition is easy to understand (handle the hard part of unifying commonly use APIs for you) and it genuinely delivers on it. It's easy enough to be impressed with the offering as shipped, but Merge continues to add new features too. Adding new features in a way that's useful rather than spammy is very welcome and shows good product insight.The whole package genuinely makes the integration process not only way cheaper but more reliable too, because if there are any issues, Merge are the experts in their field and can be contacted for support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that comes to mind is happening upon an API that Merge hasn't integrated with yet, but that feels like a matter of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to feel locked in to certain providers in a startup. Changing between integrating with different providers can be such a significant undertaking on its own that the benefits of switching may not end up being worth it. With Merge, those choices are easier because the APIs don't change for the startup -- just a toggle on what provider is being used. Not being locked in is very freeing, not to mention general improved reliability.
