Trying to perform state of the art analytics for the bank
Its good but can use more innovation
What do you like best about the product?
Cognos was an excellent analytics suite but hasnt made a lot of enhancements to their product in recent times. but is a very strong solution for standard reporting and adhoc analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
They do not innovate it very often, I really believe that this software can get to be amazing with a little bit of help.

We are available to easily review data

Analytics definitely gets the job done by letting us know best practices for our sales roles. Have not had any issues with crashing and bugs like with other programs.

Like all programs you just have to use it to understand how it works.

Easily customized to suit individual needs. Abel to display reports in multiple formats

The Cognos system is slowly being phased out over time ans support is limited

limitations with prompting. Performance issues with large dataset

graphics have improved over the years, but still has some ways to go.

Congos is very good reporting tool. The slice and dice works very well and performance is good.
