Report development is quick and easy to pick up. There are many options for configuration and customization to bring your reporting to the next level.

There is a learning curve, just like any other tool.

IBM Cognos Analytics is great for corporate reporting. It comes with great pixel perfect reporting. More important, it has additional capabilities for audit and compliance by using IBM's Motio DevOps suite leveraging zero-touch version control and deployment.
With te capabilities to do reporting and dashboaridng it is a complete suite for organizations.

It needs education and skills to fully leverage the product. Report Authoring can be complaex and is not designed for every user.

IBM Cognos Analytics is key to deliver Business Analytics when strickt guidelines are needed, apporval processes must be in place ton ensure the most accurate and reliable BI implementation is required.

What do you like best about the product?
Cognos Analytics features stringent data protection, unlike spreadsheets, where there is a considerable risk of losing original data while working in a team. Since each team member is given a different copy in this instance, any changes are unique to their edition. Incorporate an AI chatbot that can answer any query and even perform mathematical computations when requested in natural language, just like you would in a conversation with a friend. Consequently, no SQL code or queries need to be written. Finally, team members may remain on top of important deadlines and accomplishments by using push alerts that can be transmitted between devices.

There are times when the cloud version is a bit slow.

I think the way of teaching and the way they in include the important topics which are actually industry standard and when i started working i got to know how much i use what i learned there

I think the practical aspect can be improved more practical problems can be introduced, take home assignments can be added.

AI Integration reflecting the latest advanced present in the Tool taking reporting and dashboarding to next level.Another striking feature is the predictive forecasting which provides prediction at an appreciable level. UI is pretty easy to use thereby reducing the complicated dashboard implementation and easy integration with databases. External support provided by the company resulting in frequent usage over other tools.

Missing of Core LLM component is a little downside.
