Watson Discovery review for IBM
What do you like best about the product?
Lite plan is a free to use IBM Cloud based trial which enables you to upload up to a 1000 documents, 200 news queries, and a custom model, to prototype the service. Additionally, when you upgrade to a paid plan, you don't lose any content that was ingested.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are processing a JSON file of metadata, then the maximum supported metadata file size is 1 MB. Metadata parts larger than 1 MB are rejected. So it would be great for this limit to be increased!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used IBM Watson Discovery to complete my book on IBM Watson Analytics and Stored IQ installation and configuration.

What do you like best about the product?
Pinpoint answers and its ability to find the trends in the data is one of the best features that come to the top of my mind. It is one of the best platform in the space
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is slightly higher given the amount of usage in the companies. It is productive to hire a data scientist to get insights at a much cheaper cost. Reduce pricing for more adoption
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We analyze the trends in our marketing data using the Watson discovery. Since our data is bit noisy, getting a clear pattern out of the data manually is nearly impossible

You can do many things using this you can search and find anything inside any document you just have to pass some text it will give you a response from the document

What do you like best about the product?
Ibm Watson discovery provides the best features like AI,content mining,text mining and NLP Features.Natural language processing helps in reducing the efforts of the users and gives the correct information without any hiccups.we have pre-built NLP models which will be very helpful to get the proper information.it is connected with cloud such as IBM cloud,Google Cloud etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when we try to convert the document it will throw some error.It will says it's because of illegal characters and all.For us it doesn't seems any illegal characters and expect us to replace the characters.That is one of the drawback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using NLP features to read the documents and getting the results out of it.when we process a document it will give some key value pairs and made our very easy to extract the particular data.

What I like the best in Watson Descovery is using Watson Assistant so far it's the most developer-friendly for chatbot creators!
What do you dislike about the product?
I Seldom experience problem so i think this is not negative>
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, since I've experience using the Assistant, it helps some of the company in cost-cutting. putting people in customer service that only handles basic query will purge them but with the help of chatbots it may help the company to provide good customer service without spending too much

What do you like best about the product?
The search style and the algorithm are the best I think. It is artificially intelligent and serves very well using a good insight of the users though.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not so broad I think. There should be more relevant results that I might be missing. And it could be faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am doing some R&D. And I have been benefited from IBM. Previously I was worked on a chatbot. I get a very good idea from IBM Watson.

Extraction of the most relevant business insights from web pages, documents, videos and audio files. Natural language processing service can analyse target phras for more focused sentiment results.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a lot of training sessions to fully understand and utilize the solution to the fullest. The lite version has limited capabilities but that is acceptable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analysis of a webpage to get sentiment analysis, entities and keywords. We can crawl any website and process any type of information we need resulting in improvements in the employee productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good tool if used to the full potential, better to start with lite edition and gradually to the paid version as per the requirement.
