Good for code
What do you like best about the product?
The live updates to the shared notebook are better than googl's collab notebooks
What do you dislike about the product?
Resource intensive; makes my computer lag
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of creating a vitual enviornment I use deepnote from the web with ease

Collaborative environment, ease of reproducible setup, current version of languages, helpful resources and support, has worked where its competitors have not
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI feels slightly dated but that's certainly a personal preference
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was working on a project with team members who did not use a formal version control system. This made it difficult to working on our sections of code independently--we'd spend time at the next meeting integrating code snippets and troubleshooting. Deepnote allowed us all to work on the single notebook at the same time thereby increasing our productivity and collaboration.

Easy to set up, updates quickly, and provided by my University

Outputs do not awlays match those of VSCode, can be a little slow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for live collaboration. Deepnote was used to create the code for a group project in which each member answered a RQ, but all of the cleaning and previous work of the group could be seen and utilized by others as they did it.
Deepnote: Nearly Perfect for My Data Science Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, it's the real-time collaboration that sold me. Look, I've tried pretty much everything out there - Jupyter, Google Colab, you name it. But Deepnote just clicks differently, especially when working with my team.
No setup hassle along with a live version control is what was needed. Never needed any customer support as the docs were pretty comprehesive and covered everything.
Easy,powerful and very vast of integrations available. Using it since ~3 months. Would recommend.

What do you dislike about the product?
Problem with large datasets as the whole application gets a little buggy sometimes and some minor UI nitpicks i have, other than that, a solid and very to use application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deepnote is a gamechanger in reducing the collaboration chaos and the live version control system in Machine Learning. I can easily see who changed what, when, and why. It's made experimenting and iterating on models so much smoother and less stressful.

Deepnote allowed me to have a shared space where project could be seen and edited by many. It was very beneficial throughout the on machine learning that I attended

Deepnote was often very slow to load the content on the different projects

It's providing a place to run ML algorithms and efficiently display results.

I love the collaborative features that I use often with my own team

I don't like the lack of free gpu credits, compared with something like google colab

Deepnote is solving the lack of collaboration that other platforms like Google Colab don't offer in a robust way that makes it accessible for a user to quickly join in on the project

Deepnote makes collaboration effortless with real-time editing and integrated environment setups. The seamless cloud integration eliminates setup friction, letting my team focus on insights rather than infrastructure.

Deepnote struggles with integrating existing codebases smoothly, making it less ideal for projects that aren’t started from scratch

Deepnote simplifies collaboration and sharing in data science projects, enabling my team to work in real-time without worrying about environment setup or version mismatches. It’s a huge time-saver for quick prototyping and analysis.
Great platform for universities studies.
What do you like best about the product?
Great platform with a very well done design and high performance, used it in university for machine learning projects and it worked great. I rellay enjoyed the ability to share the code and see other people work, teamwork was easy to achive!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes a bit too slow, for exmaple, with very big notebooks, it starts to lose some perfrmace.

Deepnote helped me devoled different ML project, for exmaple, the prediciton of movie genre based on their data. The fact that the Databases are easy to implenet made the all process more easy.

Deepnote makes teaching and learning easy and interactive for everyone involved.

The interface can sometimes cause issues in terms of file management.

Deepnote solves sharing and interacting seamlessly between student and teacher

Like the layout and all features are very intuitive.

Deepnote copilot is not always the best when it comes to programming.

It solves the problem of multiple people writing code in one document at the same time.
