Classroom Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability for students to collaborate in realtime was vital for classroom goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were server issues where students had trouble accessing and starting up machines in timely manners. Deepnote support was easy to contact, but I did lose classtime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using R to analyze data sets in real time with collaborators
Easy to use python notebook interface
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use with functional usability elements that make the product a good tool for basic querying and data analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deepnote from a visualization standpoint lacks certain functionality that other tools are able to provide at the same price point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Querying large amounts of data and performing ETLs to make the data easy to digest and useable.
A great, collaborative Jupyter replacement
What do you like best about the product?
I love Deepnote's UI. It makes working with small- to midsized datasets super easy and adds useful collaborative features. Their "App" approach for internal dashboards reminds me of Retool and is a fantastic feature to share insights generated to non-technical team members without time-heavy preparation (pasting generated graphs into PowerPoint or such).
What do you dislike about the product?
For very small datasets, especially if collaboration isn't needed, Deepnote can be a tad too heavy and running Jupyter (or similar tooling) locally circumvents the need to expose your Data via API or uploading it first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Deepnote to analyze pre-sales for our in-person events. Using Deepnote helps us generate graphics that we can all access and discuss collaboratively.
Excellent Tool for Collaboration and Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I’m really happy with Deepnote! The scheduled notebooks save me so much time by automating tasks, and the collaboration features make it super easy to work with my team. I also love having the Linux terminal right there—it’s so convenient. Overall, it’s a great tool that makes my work easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can’t schedule more than one notebook in a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notebook scheduling, team collaboration, and cloud platform.
Very good collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
AI capabilities are good, having access to all my coworkers notebooks
What do you dislike about the product?
Autofill can sometimes be messy bot overall works, AI does not always come up with the cleanest code
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A shared space for data analysts to store their code
A clean data workbook for creating models.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Deepnote is its cloud-based framework. This enables me to resume working from anywhere and share my results dynamically with others. Another helpful attribute is the AI companion that comes with the Pro subscription. When improving Ml model performance the AI can implement various techniques such as hyperparameter tuning and feature selection to improve accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that if I change a small feature in a recent block of code, then I need to run the whole notebook again. This makes working a bit cumbersome in the long-term.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is enabling me to create a consistent backend framework for my allergic diagnosis application. The notebooks enable me to deliver results via Python and upload that to database for retrieval in other environments such as XCode.
powerful app development
What do you like best about the product?
we can develop applications that we use in our business that simplify and automate the processes that rely on complex datasets, AI help is nice
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are new, it can take a significant amount of time to figure things out, reducing productivity, creating anxiety and frustration, AI could be more powerful, the side bar can get messy very quickly so that makes it difficult to be organized
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
statistical analysis, data plotting, data sorting
Simple to use, ideal for a newbie
What do you like best about the product?
As a newbie to using Deepnote for Python, I really appreciated the clean interface and that I didn't need to be a really experienced user to figure things out. The AI assistance is insanely helpful and actually helps you learn what you're doing wrong (or right).
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing I got a little confused about was the notebooks and which one I was in and when. Otherwise, I can't find fault with anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was going through a data analytics bootcamp and on the Python section, we were introduced to Deepnote. As I said, it's a clean and straightforward interface and the AI assistant is really great for guiding you as a newbie.
Excellent
What do you like best about the product?
Allows our python notebooks be used by anyone at the company as apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been using Deepnote for several months now and I don't think there's anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use python notebooks as apps. Prevents users from changing the code by accident.
Great for experiments with code + data
What do you like best about the product?
Easyness of use to prototype something quickly to present some results
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes running can be delayed a little bit without dedicated resources or cold starts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Doing python scripts ot present data easily to other stakeholders that are not tech-savy
