    Consulting

A huge PaaS offering a multitude of services catering for everyone

  • September 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about SAP BTP is that it unifies data, integration, and innovation in one platform. It removes complexity, lets you build and extend solutions quickly, and balances low-code ease with enterprise-grade flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about SAP BTP is that it can feel complex and overwhelming at first—there are many services, licensing models, and technical layers to navigate. This sometimes makes it harder for new users or business teams to see quick value without strong technical support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAP Business Technology Platform is solving the challenge of connecting systems, managing data, and innovating on top of core ERP without heavy customisation. With CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), it streamlines integration across SAP and non-SAP systems, reducing manual effort and ensuring data consistency. With CAP (Cloud Application Programming model), it provides a modern framework for building scalable extensions and services, allowing innovation without disrupting the digital core.

For me, this means fewer integration headaches, faster development of custom applications, and the ability to deliver solutions that are both agile and enterprise-ready. It ultimately saves time, reduces errors, and makes it easier to respond to business needs quickly.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about SAP Business Technology Platform is the way it brings different capabilities, data management, integration, and analytics into one place. It seems especially useful for companies already running SAP, as it allows them to extend their existing systems without having to rely on lots of separate tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about SAP Business Technology Platform is that it can feel overwhelming at first. The platform has a wide range of services and options, which makes the learning curve steep for new users. From what I’ve seen, it also seems like pricing and licensing can get complicated depending on which services you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using SAP Business Technology Platform as a PaaS helps solve the problem of building and extending applications without heavy infrastructure management. It gives me a single environment to develop, test, and deploy apps while connecting easily to SAP systems. The benefit is faster development cycles, less dependency on separate tools, and the ability to scale solutions without worrying about the underlying infrastructure

What do you like best about the product?
From beginning to end, SAP has exactly what you need in any business unit. Knowing where and how everything is and got there, the amount of traceability is like none other.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, some programs are too black and white in which nodes are where. I’d like to be able to take something from a different node and apply it to another one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No use of Excel sheets and shared drives. Everything is one place and things are executed at the push of a key. This is also seen in real time immediately.

    Education Management

I like it, would I change a few things probably yes

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility and integration for example connectors and APIs make it easier to connect SAP and non-SAP systems which was huge for our migration. Also being cloud based its just nice to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is powerful but it can be alot to learn for new users and admina due to the number of services and usecases.
real-world integrations with non-SAP systems sometimes require extra tweaking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As said previously Integration across system connects SAP and non-SAP applications so data isn’t siloed and faster project delivery since you don’t need to reinvent integration or infrastructure.

Best multi-cloud platform-as-a-service (PaaS)

  • September 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I'm impressed with it's improved efficiency in automating tasks and processes, it helps reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and free up employees to focus on higher-value activities. Quite an awesome platform for integration flexibility. For new employee onboarding and financial reporting, SAP is doing a great job. For well trained SAP administrators, it's ease of use and integration with other tools is a plus. Our company is frequently using SAP platform for production line and financial reporting and a lot other stuff. I have never contact customer support for which I can't comment. But overall, it's the best platform I have seen during my professional experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides include expensive licensing, implementation challenges. Although SAP is a feature rich platform but it's still highly complex to operate, due to which sometimes companies need well trained SAP administrators or even hire SAP consultants to do their job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us accelerating innovation by providing ready to use platform with pre built services which allow deploying new services much faster and efficiently.

SAP After-Sales Order & Revenue Management

  • September 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform's greatest strength is the seamless Ease of Integration between its vast Number of Features. In the automotive after-sales sector, we don't just use isolated tools; we rely on a connected ecosystem. SAP excels at this by ensuring that the module for receiving spare parts orders, the inventory management system, and the financial analysis tools all communicate flawlessly. This creates a single, reliable source of truth. The extensive Number of Features means we have a specific tool for every step, from tracking a single part number to generating complex revenue reports, and the integration ensures data consistency across all of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The primary downside is ironically a consequence of its extensive Number of Features. While this makes the platform powerful, it also creates a steep learning curve and can make the user interface feel cluttered and unintuitive for specialized roles. For tasks like processing a spare parts order or pulling a standard report, a user has to navigate through a system designed to do everything, which can hinder efficiency. This complexity often means that leveraging the full potential of its Ease of Integration with other systems requires dedicated specialists, creating a bottleneck for more routine analytical tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAP is solving the critical business problem of data fragmentation and lack of real-time visibility in our automotive after-sales supply chain. Before, order information, warehouse stock, and revenue data were often in separate silos, making comprehensive analysis slow and prone to errors.

The primary benefit is having a single, unified platform to manage the entire lifecycle of a spare part order. This provides us with:

Operational Efficiency: We can receive, process, and track thousands of part orders without manual data consolidation.
Accurate Financial Reporting: It allows us to precisely analyze revenue streams by part category or region, directly from the system.
Improved Inventory Management: Real-time data helps us make better decisions, reducing the risk of overstock or stockouts, which is crucial for keeping vehicles on the road.

Powerful Features, Steep Learning Curve

  • August 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that SAP BTP brings everything under one roof—data, integration, and app development. Instead of relying on multiple disconnected tools, we can connect our systems, build apps, and analyze data in the same environment. The flexibility of using low-code for quick solutions and pro-code for more complex projects is a big plus. It also feels secure and scalable, which is important for enterprise use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main challenge with SAP BTP is the learning curve - it can feel complex at first, especially if you’re new to the SAP ecosystem. Some of the documentation could be clearer and more beginner-friendly. Pricing can also get tricky if you’re not actively monitoring usage, so cost transparency is an area that could improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’re mainly using SAP BTP as a PaaS and for low-code development. It’s helping us build and deploy applications much faster without needing a large development team. Instead of waiting for long IT cycles, we can prototype, test, and roll out lightweight apps quickly. At the same time, the platform gives us the scalability and governance we need on the backend, so solutions stay secure and enterprise-ready.

Flexible platform that bridges SAP systems with modern cloud capabilities

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how seamlessly SAP BTP connects with existing SAP systems while still giving the flexibility to build and extend solutions using modern tools. The integration options are solid, whether you’re working with APIs, events, or data services, and it’s easy to combine SAP data with external sources. The workflow automation and analytics capabilities also stand out it’s convenient to create dashboards or automate repetitive processes without jumping between multiple tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the services have a learning curve, especially if you’re new to SAP’s terminology or architecture. The documentation is detailed but can feel scattered at times, which makes troubleshooting slower. Also, pricing can get tricky to estimate when you start scaling multiple services, so you have to keep a close eye on usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAP BTP has helped us unify data and processes from multiple SAP and non-SAP systems without having to build complex integrations from scratch. It allows our teams to quickly deploy new applications and services in the cloud, which speeds up delivery and reduces the burden on our on premise infrastructure. This has improved our ability to respond to business needs faster, lowered maintenance costs, and given us more flexibility to experiment with new solutions without disrupting core operations.

Solid platform for building and integrating SAP apps

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s great that everything is in one place—databases, integration tools, analytics, and even AI features. I like how easily it connects with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP products, and that you can extend or customize them without starting from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not the easiest platform to learn. If you’re new to SAP, the setup and navigation can be a bit overwhelming. Some of the documentation could be clearer, and figuring out pricing for certain services isn’t always straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us connect different SAP and non-SAP systems without having to build custom integrations from scratch. We can develop, test, and deploy applications faster, and run analytics directly on live business data. This saves time, reduces manual work, and allows us to respond to business changes more quickly.
