SAP Business Technology Platform is both cost effective and powerful.
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using SAP BTP's SCM module to enhance our supply chain operations which had a significant impact on optimizing inventories, reducing costs and improving supplier engagement. It has also accelerated our ERP integration which improved our customer experience, enabled predictive maintenance and increased our supply chain efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the cost of the product itself is not very high but to use it, you need experienced people whom you have to pay very high salaries. And even if you want to train a new person to use SAP, it is very time consuming to learn it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to enhance our supply chain operations which increases our efficiency and reduces cost.

What do you like best about the product?
My team is using SAP build code which is a part of SAP business technology platform, providing a easy to use environment for coding in java, it provides AI based generative code as well which has streamlined the process of development and help us offer better time to market for the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scope of learning is versatile and it takes time to understand the requirements and need, basically requires a lot of time for R&D.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using a number of cloud services from SAP business technology to streamline the process of development of our upcoming application which will be launched in June, we have utilised multiple applications for development and datastorage solutions and also for data analytics, it's all in one solution that provides a good enviroment for development.

Brings together very well all SAP applications in one place. Allows for IU to be customised to show most used apps. The best part for us as an organisation was the data lake it created for us to interrogate

I might not like Some drawbacks of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) are its high price and lack of intuitiveness.

Offers a range of tools and services for integration and analysis of data, offers DB managment for both structures as well as unstructured which comes out to be very useful for our inventory management.

It's a clusture of techonology and tools all together, a better guide and team support can help us understand tools that can be of helpful in our usecase.

Our team is utilizing SAP business techology platform for DaaS for managing our database which offers noSQL capabilies with providing scalable and easy to use cloud based database management system called "SAP data intelligence".

The SAP Business technology platform has learning portals and tutorials providing low code implementation of features in development which increases efficiency and reduces time spent on a project.

Although the integration was seamless, the authentication took a lot of time, affecting productivity.

SAP is very customizable and works well with existing infrastructure.

What do you dislike about the product?
SAP HANA is tough to maintain and needs full time engineers to keep it up and running. Suse Linux Enterprise with support does solve some of these issues though.
