What is our primary use case?
LastPass Business is used to store all of our business usernames and passwords, other access information, and important number or text strings. It resolves our requirement to securely store this information. It also allows for very straightforward onboarding and offboarding of staff, tight access control for internal and external staff, and improves the integrity of our passwords.
I use LastPass Business for each of my business accounts. The biggest problem LastPass Business has resolved for me personally has to do with websites that constantly require that my password be changed. Since LastPass Business automatically asks if I want to update my password, this keeps me from having to remember the new password and automatically fills in the correct password the next time I log in to the website. Another reason I value LastPass Business is that different websites have different requirements for passwords, so I cannot just use a standard password as it will not work for all sites. With LastPass Business, I only have to remember my master password, and LastPass Business does the rest for me. This eliminates the need for spreadsheets or emails with all of my passwords that I have to search through. I simply go to the website, click to log in and let LastPass Business fill everything in. This has been invaluable in saving my time.
LastPass Business also works well to restrict access to sensitive information or logins from staff who do not require access.
LastPass Business helps us to keep safe and secure. We also utilize it for authentication to verify identity to access some applications and to securely share credentials across various departments to enhance collaboration.
What is most valuable?
In my opinion, the best features LastPass Business offers are user onboarding and offboarding, ease of use, user control, and automatic password updates for sites when you update them. LastPass Business allows me to categorize my vault contacts, add notes to my vault contact items, and provides seamless password management, making it very convenient, along with collaboration, cybersecurity, and compliance.
I value LastPass Business because it is very convenient as it is designed for everyone, from tech-savvy individuals to beginners. It makes managing passwords easier with password features such as auto-generate, auto-save, one-click auto-fill, and passwordless logging, available on any system or device.
I value LastPass Business because it reinforces the resilience of business operations against disruption and boosts workplace efficiency and productivity among internal and external teams through credential and folder sharing, streamlined user management, and native SSO integration with top SaaS apps.
LastPass Business has positively impacted my organization because it is very secure. It has improved our security because LastPass Business protects passwords using strong and unique passwords that are stored in an encrypted vault for maximum protection. It has increased collaboration where it boosts workplace efficiency and productivity among internal and external teams. It has also been a very useful tool because it saves a lot of time for staff searching through passwords or finding that they are no longer correct. For instance, we have been able to save time from 25% to 45%. It saves a lot of time and gives significant peace of mind when onboarding and offboarding staff.
LastPass Business has positively impacted my company by saving my valuable time for all the logins into websites throughout my day. On average, LastPass saves me at least 30 to 45 minutes a day.
LastPass Business has positively impacted my company not only by saving my technical time and allowing my team members to service more customers, but because of this, my company is able to save on the number of techs we need to employ, hence fewer employees are needed. It has also saved my tech valuable time in logging into company websites on average 50 plus times a day. This allows my tech to service more customers globally.
What needs improvement?
LastPass Business could be improved by allowing me to set the default login option when I have more than one login for a website. It would also be beneficial if LastPass Business would notify me if I was adding a duplicate entry.
Another great option for LastPass Business would be to periodically notify me of logins that I have saved that have not been used for 12 months and above.

LastPass Business is very stable. I have not experienced any downtime.

LastPass Business's scalability is very good because it can handle all of my organization's passwords and accounts effectively.

I have seen a return on investment with LastPass Business. The tool is integrated with our Okta, so the MFA provides an extra layer of security to LastPass Business accounts. It has improved my password security management, and integration with Chrome or other browsers is very useful. It has saved time, hence fewer employees are needed. As I mentioned, it has positively impacted my company not only by saving my technical time and allowing my team to service more customers, but because of this, my company is able to save on the number of techs we need to employ.

My experience with LastPass Business pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that it is a very cost-effective and affordable tool.

Before choosing LastPass Business, I evaluated other options including NordVPN and Notion.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others looking into using LastPass Business is that this is a very great tool. I think it is suited to all business types and every business size. Every business has a need for password security and needs to conduct accounts online, whether they are their own, accessing supplier sites, and many more, regardless of the business type. I do not think there would be any scenario where LastPass Business would not be useful or beneficial to anyone. It is very recommended and highly needed in every organization for security. I would rate this product a 9 overall.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is simple to navigate. The software is easy to use, even on tablets and phones. I like the fact that you can control the level of security for each password. Saves me a whole bunch of time logging in to the cc sites and apps that I most often use

Sometimes, when entering tour master password, the windows to do so times out a little to quickly for some sessions.

I like that LastPass includes categories for credit cards and SSH keys. It's really handy because you can store these items in LastPass just like passwords, and they're accessible all in one place from both my PC and smartphone. The specific categories also help format the input correctly for the card or key. Plus, the initial setup was easy, which was a nice bonus.

Sometimes it gets confused and tries to save or change a password for you that is already in LastPass. It would be better with AI algorithms to tell what is actually a password and not offer to remember OTP, etc.

I like how easy LastPass is to use and navigate around. I also appreciate that different users can see different things, which is really convenient. Setting it up was very easy, taking only a few minutes. I also use it to generate random passwords for new accounts, which is really helpful. Plus, it's so easy and affordable, I'd rate it a 10 for recommending to a friend or colleague.

Sometimes it glitches when I go on the website and the password doesn't automatically fill out, so I just copy and paste it instead.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, reliable, everyone learnt using in quickly. Structured, easy to find the login details. I think it's safe. We use the Team version, and the admin console is great; it gives us an extra layer of operational safety. All team member uses it every day. The customer support for technical issues is relatively good. I like the option of contacting the helpline different way, they usually come back to me very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Chrome extension very often stops working. Buying new licences are shockingly long and complicated. Plus, we need to buy new licences in batches of 3 even if we need just 1.

I like LastPass for its ability to create and store very complex passwords. It's also enjoyable to use, especially when it comes to the creation and updating of passwords. The ease of keeping things secure across multiple platforms, given the need for multiple logins in the IT world, is another benefit I appreciate. Additionally, the initial setup was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like LastPass to integrate with my Microsoft login so I only have to sign in if I am on an unauthenticated situation. I also wish for the ability to share with guests a secure unreadable use of a password.

Family Password Sharing Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
The "share password" on the family account means that only one person in the family needs to manage the password for any of our family subscriptions, and no longer are we reusing the same password over and over.

Nothing to dislike. I think the price for the family plan is acceptable considering the hours of work it would take to manage shared passwords manually.

The most important problem LastPass solves is being able to have unique passwords for all shared services and subscriptions, without worrying about security exposures.
