My main use case for LastPass Business is that it allows our employees to securely manage their logins for services we use. It allows our teams to collaborate using shared resources, such as secure notes, document sharing, and access management to logins that groups share credentials for. Over the years, LastPass Business has improved their Chrome extension, making it easier for our employees to use this from their first day. Tools available for administrators have also improved along with documentation for security considerations.
A quick specific example of how my team uses LastPass Business day-to-day is that it's a great tool for onboarding new employees and creating a framework for using services at work securely. Documentation makes it easy for administrators to implement their own internal security policies and understand changes to services that occur when LastPass Business provides feature updates.
What is most valuable?
Some of the best features LastPass Business offers include browser login, app login, the ability to launch in the browser from the app, multi-platform support, and two-factor authentication.
Out of those features, the one my team relies on the most is login, which has been securely sharing all login credentials in an effective manner. This is very encouraging for me as a user to see LastPass Business showing its best in my company. LastPass Business is a great platform, and it has the ability to save time from having to seek a coworker in order to access their login information. Additionally, having access to LastPass Business means that one does not have to remember an ample amount of passwords just for the sake of getting any work done. I just have to log in and do the work, which promotes collaboration.
LastPass Business has positively impacted my organization because my whole organization has been using this tool for business, and now all employees are able to monitor password strength, usage, and even access to different accounts. LastPass Business has made the whole process of work quite easier to manage. Also, it has been very secure, sharing all login credentials in an effective manner, which is very encouraging for me as a user to see LastPass Business showing its best in my company.
What needs improvement?
Some of the areas that need improvement for LastPass Business include that the user interface could use a refresh, which would be great.
I would like to add that the Chrome extension sometimes lags on logging in.
I think that if they introduced multi-factor authentication, it would be great.

Before LastPass Business, I used the Okta Identity Cloud, which is why we moved to LastPass Business because it is a full and complex solution that can also offer us forms, credit cards, business cards, and many other solutions to have your users digitally safe and controlled. It can offer more than any other solution on the market in terms of safety due to the encryption level that it uses.
What was our ROI?
I have seen a return on investment because since there are fewer incidents of security threats, it has reduced help desk support calls. It is a secured and automated way for logins and identity management, which leads to easier handling.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that this is one of the cost-effective tools. It is very cost-effective and an affordable tool.

The advice I would give to others looking into using LastPass Business is that the solution provides a very easy-to-design interface and it can be straightforward to understand how to navigate and keep your identity safe. It is commendable.
Before we wrap up, I have additional thoughts about LastPass Business, which is that it is very easy to use and it can help users jump from their computer to their mobile device, such as an iPad or any other device. It can also be integrated with your Apple Watch to get notifications and allow or deny any logging attempt for multi-factor authentication, which makes this solution a must-have that every company should implement in their environments and should consider for their security journey. I would rate this product a nine out of ten.

LastPass Business is used to store company passwords, including computer logins and website/program logins. Computer logins are stored and shared within the business LastPass admins so that if users are away, others can still access their computers without relying on sticky notes or notebooks with passwords. It provides a secure way to store or create multiple different passwords without having to remember them all, as users only need to remember their master password to unlock everything.
The main use case for LastPass Business includes the ease of adding more users as required, which has been necessary with more support staff coming on board. The process to reallocate licenses as staff has changed has been very straightforward. The ability to add or remove features is simple, making the management of the subscription hassle-free.
Password sharing within the team works when the admin provides access, enabling collaboration and remote work. The password sharing feature allows the team to work and collaborate easily even when located remotely.
What is most valuable?
The best features LastPass Business offers are password storage security and password sharing. It allows for the storage of multiple different logins for one site for assistants that work under multiple solicitors. The ability to share passwords between staff when needed without them being sent by email or passed around on notes makes it much more secure.
LastPass Business has positively impacted the organization because password sharing enables work and collaboration even when working remotely, which has enhanced remote collaboration. Security has improved from forty percent to sixty percent. The ability to secure information, organize passwords, and share information like passwords has been significantly beneficial.
What needs improvement?
LastPass Business could be improved by allowing the choice of a default browser on mobile instead of the LastPass browser. The mobile app should be enhanced to make the app more stable for Android, especially.
Allowing users with shared credentials to use those credentials in the UI would be a welcomed improvement.

Before switching to LastPass Business, 1Password was used as the previous solution. The switch to LastPass Business was made because although 1Password's user interface is much better than LastPass Business, the organization ability and share ability are more complicated. LastPass Business is more cost-effective than 1Password, and the customer support from LastPass Business is more proactive compared to 1Password.

For others looking into using LastPass Business, the IT team spends less time protecting and correcting security issues and more time doing functions that help grow the company. Time has been saved by everyone not having to figure out passwords but being able to immediately log into all they need using just one password. Collaboration has been increased through sharing logins. LastPass's ability to assist in keeping records and data secure and creating a form of encryption that may not exist in other apps is greatly appreciated. Keeping information safe is one of the major issues that is truly valued. This gives peace of mind that remote employees working from wherever they are can feel confident that their work system is secure and protected.

What is our primary use case?
LastPass Business is used to store all of our business usernames and passwords, other access information, and important number or text strings. It resolves our requirement to securely store this information. It also allows for very straightforward onboarding and offboarding of staff, tight access control for internal and external staff, and improves the integrity of our passwords.
I use LastPass Business for each of my business accounts. The biggest problem LastPass Business has resolved for me personally has to do with websites that constantly require that my password be changed. Since LastPass Business automatically asks if I want to update my password, this keeps me from having to remember the new password and automatically fills in the correct password the next time I log in to the website. Another reason I value LastPass Business is that different websites have different requirements for passwords, so I cannot just use a standard password as it will not work for all sites. With LastPass Business, I only have to remember my master password, and LastPass Business does the rest for me. This eliminates the need for spreadsheets or emails with all of my passwords that I have to search through. I simply go to the website, click to log in and let LastPass Business fill everything in. This has been invaluable in saving my time.
LastPass Business also works well to restrict access to sensitive information or logins from staff who do not require access.

For instance, we have been able to save time from 25% to 45%. It saves a lot of time and gives significant peace of mind when onboarding and offboarding staff.

What needs improvement?
LastPass Business could be improved by allowing me to set the default login option when I have more than one login for a website. It would also be beneficial if LastPass Business would notify me if I was adding a duplicate entry.
Another great option for LastPass Business would be to periodically notify me of logins that I have saved that have not been used for 12 months and above.

Every business has a need for password security and needs to conduct accounts online, whether they are their own, accessing supplier sites, and many more, regardless of the business type. I do not think there would be any scenario where LastPass Business would not be useful or beneficial to anyone. It is very recommended and highly needed in every organization for security. I would rate this product a 9 overall.

The user interface is simple to navigate. The software is easy to use, even on tablets and phones. I like the fact that you can control the level of security for each password. Saves me a whole bunch of time logging in to the cc sites and apps that I most often use

Sometimes, when entering tour master password, the windows to do so times out a little to quickly for some sessions.

Sometimes it glitches when I go on the website and the password doesn't automatically fill out, so I just copy and paste it instead.

Easy to use, reliable, everyone learnt using in quickly. Structured, easy to find the login details. I think it's safe. We use the Team version, and the admin console is great; it gives us an extra layer of operational safety. All team member uses it every day. The customer support for technical issues is relatively good. I like the option of contacting the helpline different way, they usually come back to me very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Chrome extension very often stops working. Buying new licences are shockingly long and complicated. Plus, we need to buy new licences in batches of 3 even if we need just 1.
