Absolutely Fantastic
What do you like best about the product?
The ability for our remote teams to connect to our network and work as if they were in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes about NordLayer! The service is amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We transitioned from using Microsoft Remote Apps to NordLayer to allow our team members complete access to our network.
Solid for Small and Large Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the aspect that it is good for both small and large teams. You can segment each team and create servers and spaces for everyone. The UI is the best for enterprise use as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was not a fan of the lack of tracking and follow ups with team members. It was tricky to nail down if everyone was truly using it how they should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of overseas employees. Very frequently we would run into issues where these employees would get locked out of programs and out of systems due to it being thought of as a threat. This solved 90% of the issues that they had been having.
Great service
What do you like best about the product?
I can turn it on and forget about it. Auto connecting on untrusted networks is a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Buying licenses is somewhat confusing in the admin. I had to jump through some hoops to purchase licenses for my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NordLayer allows our engineers to feel safe working remotely and abroad on untrusted connections. We don't have to think about staying secure because NordLayer is working in the background.
Fast, Secure, and User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
NordLayer VPN is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable and secure virtual private network (VPN) service. I've been using it for several months now, and we've been consistently satisfied with its speed, performance, and ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
NordLayer VPN doesn't have any significant drawbacks. However, if I had to choose something, I would say that the admin interface could be more user-friendly and intuitive. Despite this, I have encountered worse interfaces in other VPN services. Overall, NordLayer VPN is a reliable and high-quality VPN service that meets my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it makes our collaborators feel secure when browsing the internet on open or public WiFi networks.

Best VPN for the money
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and good performance and value.

None so far. Been satisfied with the service since the beginning.

Our clients require that we use the same regional IP as their business location.

What do you like best about the product?
I love nordlayer. It has gateways that you can assign to each member or group. I created a gateway for each department so I can seprate their traffic and give them different accesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like how nord sometimes doesnt auto connect. I have to manually connect with it. I wish it could connect at the login screen. User can only login if they are first connect to the vpn
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It help us secure connect with internet especially when I work from starbuck or any other outside public location. I dont want to connect to non trusted internet without vpn
NordLayer Recommendation
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to be able to create one organisation within NordLayer and have your entire team under one IP.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we have connection issues where a website or application won't load under the VPN but they resolve on their own most of the time and issues are few and far between.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With NordLayer, we can have our entire team under one secure network and on the same IP.

What do you like best about the product?
NordLayer was easy to set up and manage for my team. We needed both the security of a VPN and a static IP for the whole team and NordLayer gives us both at a price that is in line with the competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is a bit pricey but the alternatives are too so if you need a VPN and it is worth it for your company to pay for it then I think NordLayer is a fine choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NordLayer gets all of my developers onto a single IP address which I can then use for whitelisting into our cloud environments making security an easy thing to set up and maintain.
Great most of the time!
What do you like best about the product?
I have a fiber connection and as most people know, VPNs do impact your speed, however the impact for me is minimal, speed test clocking in at 79mbps down for a 100mbps connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occassion, some of the servers you connect to will be slow, possibly they have many users connected or a lot of data passing through that server, but a quick reconnect fixes it right up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our new work from home age many people have insecure networks in their homes and many people work in communal areas so having a VPN helps improve their security.
