Using Boomi for the creation and maintenance of our business data integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Boomi's interface is user-friendly and intuitive, allowing us to easily create data connections and integrate them into our data analysis processes. Managing a large number of connections is straightforward, and they can be refreshed on a regular basis without hassle.
Additionally, the customer support system is typically very responsive and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Makes use of non-native connections using REST APIs are usually more complicated that when we would have using an app such as Postman for example. There is definitely room to improve to make this more intuitive.
The use of emails as a source for source to target river cannot be done with Boomi for our business outlook inbox when the report comes as a link as our business IT firewall security encrypts URLs, which Boomi doesnt have a way to access the report in the link.

Boomi - Powerhouse to integrate business usecases
What do you like best about the product?
1. First and foremost, it's easy to adapt for any kind of integration with all kinds of technologies, without worrying about any system complexity.
2. Then, as we know, it's a low-code platform that also helps developers to use it without requiring any coding background.
3. Provides varieties of services under single roof, like API management, MDH, Event Stream, Integration, etc., to deliver the complete package for customer requirements.
4. Its customer support is pretty great, as it provides real-time support, and at its community page we able to find almost all kinds of scenarios when we stuck somewhere in building a solution.
5. Boomi documentation is also great, delivers the complete knowledge of all the services and their components available in it.
6. To set up/implement boomi on any system is also easy, as it is completely cloud-based and requires minimalist resources.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. As it is completely low-code platform, this thing sometimes creates a mess while building some complex solution, because at that time we need to use multiple boomi shapes for a single thing, like removing the duplicacy or sorting some records.
2. It doesn't provides the functionality to low-down certain components, only gives the features of adding permission who can edit or delete that, but anyone can view it. This thing sometime, not a good thing, because if we want to lock some processes or folder that only respective developer can access it, that can't be possible in boomi.
3. Also, it provides limited document memory to test in its canvas/playground, so sometimes quite difficult to do unit test in certain processes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I'm using boomi on daily basis to deliver the business solutions to our client, where we need to sync up their lead to cash cycle for their business flow with two or more different systems, like CRM, ERP, e-commerce, etc., here boomi acts as a middleware that helps us to sync the customer data from one system to another without any flaws or discrepancy. For example, we have to sync the customer's product and its price levels with their website and their ERP system on realtime after applying some validation as per system specific, whether it is going to ERP or Website, in this boomi helps us to build realtime processes that sync data in both systems without any delay or flaws.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Boomi is very easy to use as it is low code so easily adaptable for both technical and non technical stakeholders.
2. Boomi also provide us API management facility in which we can easily onboard our open API specification, and we can use use Boomi inbuilt developer portal for publishing our API's.

1. Boomi API management is not very mature.
2. For complex requirements we have to use multiple shapes , there is no any direct approach for this.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a requirements migrate around 8 million records from legacy CRM system to salesforce, as source data contain multiple fields and over those fields we need to apply some validation that we cant directly apply on the salesforce while migrating those records, so for that we have to use Boomi as a middleware to fetch data from legacy CRM and did some transformation over the data and apply certain set of validation then dump that data to salesforce without any delay, so in this how boomi help us that we can effectively get the data in batches and then using the salesforce bulk API's we were able to transform that data to salesforce and also able to validate which data failed at salesforce during transformation.

the things i like most about boomi are -
1. The easy to use interface which boomi provides is really helpful.
2.The low code functionality of Boomi makes it easy for technical and non technical stakeholders to contribute more.
3. We can integrate it with multiple third party vendors, so thats an additional good point.

What do you dislike about the product?
The things are dislike about Boomi are-
1. The API gateway is not even at par with the competitors , let alone being better then them.
2. The K8s deployment of Boomi is quite complex.
3.The update process of Boomi runtime is quite bad as it even affects the On premise nods too, that should not be the case at first place.

The things i dislike about Boomi are -
1. The downtime which we face while Boomi update its product , even when the Runtime is hosted on our premise.

Boomi are solving so many problems for our clients , some of them are -

A solid, stable integration platform
What do you like best about the product?
Boomi is incredibly stable, its truly the best compliment I can give it. Once a process has been thoroughly tested and promoted it just works, and any issues that arise are always on one end or the other not in Boomi itself

sometimes there visibility into what is happening between connections is not as good as it needs to be

What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the best products compared to other integration tools, offering a more user friendly interface and easy to understand shapes. It also provides multiple options to connect with various trade partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have to work on some bugs and enhance the quality of shapes. Example SFTP connector shape with send option was not showing exact error when we are handling with try catch shape as all errors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to connect vast and multiple enterprises with easy steps and more security. They were offering on premises atom installation for sensitive data. Licensing will vary based on the connection.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to learn. They provide good documentations. They provide free certifications and their community is really huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes time to even execute the process in the process reporting tab manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are integrating different systems together and boomi is helping us syncing different systems like ServiceNow, Quickbase, IFS, Azure Cloud together for our business.

Currently we use Boomi as a center for all the integrations for our ecommerce application.
It includes real time communication and data flow between multiple environments using different types of integrations, regular time based feeds.
