ACloudGuru is a place to learn the cloud technologies
What do you like best about the product?
the content is well structure. A Cloud Guru provide an ideal way to learn cloud which is lecture following by hands on lab. The hands on lab will really help me to understand the lecture and i never get lost in the training. they will provide a reference link on the topic to allow me to dive deep in this specific topic.
the year subscription price is very reasonable. it will allow me to build up more skills.

What do you dislike about the product?
I will like A Cloud Guru since it provide all cloud technologies. I wish it can provide a little more practice exam which it will really boost my confident on the learning process.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i started with partial knowledge of azure. A Cloud Guru really help me build up my confidence on the Azure. A Cloud Guru let me to be from zero to hero.
My focus has been 100% on Azure. i am planning to take AWS, Google Cloud and Linux certifications as well. I wont have to change my learning platform since A Cloud Guru has all the training courses available.

What do you like best about the product?
The content is structured towards the certification exams and the student forums are really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to find specific subjects. Although they've been improving this lately with some major site announcements. The practice exams still need some work to be more reflective of the actual exams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to complete 8 cloud certifications using their service.

Basically I found some of the course price is high.

The instructors are entertaining and speak "real-world". It's not boring to listen to them.

Not too much to dislike, but maybe some areas are a little light. When I took the actual exam, some topics were not covered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are learning what it takes to move our applications from our own data center to the cloud, not only to reduce footprint, but to save money and resources.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The courses are excellent. Watch them, code along, and then when you're done, watch it again. You'll pick up on things you missed before. Take the practice exams multiple times.

I can watch the same section as many times as I need to completely understand. Equally important is the cloud sandboxes to test what I have learned.

There really is nothing to dislike with acloud.guru

Keeping up with the demands of customers requires ongoing training. This is my one stop source of training.

- Students are encouraged to help each other by answering others' questions and referencing other whitepapers and resources.

- Some courses are too old and not well maintained (resources code no longer works).
- ACloudGuru relies a lot on students' participation, and if a course is not a certificate course, you can only help yourself.
- The recent login after acquiring Linux Academy sucks because I have to re-login every time I open a new tab!

- Practice exams: I take the exams a few times before the real one, and make sure the last few ones are 90%+.
- Labs and lectures: The lectures and labs are mixed perfectly. After a short theory, there's a lab demonstrating the theory.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't rely it to completely to pass the exam. Try to get other practice exams online to get a better idea how AWS exams are like.
Also, make good use of the Q&A community: there are a lot of amazing questions asked that will make you think outside the box, and forces you to do some research on AWS whitepapers and documentations. It is a good experience to get an answer online.
I was told getting AWS certifications can start my career easier, and I am still working on it... Hopefully this is true!

The combination of A Cloud Guru’s objective focused training combined with Linux Academy’s vast and diverse library is fantastic. And no other training tool offers the same hands on training in both mock and real environments.

The skills assessment is still in its infancy. But I hope this will evolve quickly

Complete team training in a range of different and complimentary technologies, especially within the DevOps space. Great for onboarding new engineers as well as training in new and emerging technologies.

Worth trying out with free trial.
Not enough content and they will not give the money back if you cancel before renewal

The few courses we took were good but not superb

Not enough content compared to Coursera or Udemy.
Also once we wanted to cancel the renewal they were not willing to cancel and charged us full amount due to "terms and conditions". Great business practice.
